After days of denials, a choked-up New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner confessed Monday that he tweeted a bulging-underpants photo of himself to a young woman. "The picture was of me, I sent it," he told a room full of reporters in Manhattan.

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with his ability (or lack thereof) to do his job but... still, it's a bit ironic anytime a conservative does this.

I do feel bad for anyone that finds themselves in such a predicament.

Yes, what a predicament - and an oddly appropriate sounding choice of words. :-) I do agree that people make far too much of a deal out of such things, and this wasn't even a nude pic (if the one I saw was legit), nor was it like the girl had asked him to not send such things or was being harrassed or stalked or anything. I know some people get tired of the endless debates about what is or isn't shocking or offensive, and I do agree that the fact it's from a conservative is somewhat amusing to me - I do wish people could be less uptight and have more of a sense of humor about issues that truly aren't serious. As to whether it's a big deal or not is perhaps also debatable, but it didn't look like Mr Weiner had anything to feel short changed about - again, assuming the pic was legit. ;-)

Ya the guy had balls to get up on cnn and tell the truth. With the mass murderers in the U.S government and military what Weiner did is a joke,so is cnn.The guy did the right thing even if it took awhile,i commend him.
