in Germany, virtually no one is talking about how e.coli could have magically become resistant to eight different classes of antibiotic drugs and then suddenly appeared in the food supply.

This particular e.coli variation is a member of the O104 strain, and O104 strains are almost never (normally) resistant to antibiotics. In order for them to acquire this resistance, they must be repeatedly exposed to antibiotics in order to provide the "mutation pressure" that nudges them toward complete drug immunity...

Natural News is nothing more than a tabloid. All their articles are nothing more than twisted logic to make people continue to read their stuff in order to make a living off their ads. In FACT there is not one shread of evidence posted in that article. His evidence is an assumption of his own.

I havn't kept up with this situation, I've only heard bits and pieces, but I am ready to do my homework and try and get a decent perspective on this, if what you are presenting is true, then I would no doubt have to agree somebody needs to be put in Jail. They talk about terrorism in the MSM, well if this bio-engineering by big companies isn't terrorism, then what is?

By the way, I saw a clip that showed alligator and crocodile blood is able to fight off bugs that didn't exist before, even bugs that are resistant to antibiotics. Gonna see if I can find it and if there are no objections, I'll re-post it here.

Very big shot to the foot?

Spain has been resisting an IMF bailout and has strongly opposed the introduction of GM crops. TPTB are now forcing one or both. I am in agreement to the OP's cited article - this bacteria has either freakishly developed a resistance to multiple classes of antibiotics or this is an attack of some sort. Just my opinion.

I think it is also possible that GMO products ingested by humans or animals fed by GMO products (soy mainly) were accidentally metabolized by E. coli, a superbug developed, and the infection simply spread by poor hygiene from there. Proteins from GMO foods can stay in the digestive system.
Terrorism is another possibility, I grant that, but the proof in the article is far from complete. It is merely one possible - arduous - method for engineering superbugs. Terrorists are not known for completing long and arduous laboratory processes so it is highly unlikely - unless it is bioterrorism secretly sponsored by a government. The Soviets were known to experiment with such stuff in the seventies and eighties. Books were published on that subject.

Hello there. I posted on this yesterday in the "monster" Fukushima thread and, well, I see some alternative motives to those initially stated by the OP:

If you view this in a context of the ongoing nuclear fallout issues and Germany's breakaway stance on the nuclearenergy/safety lines held by others, you may see other questions to be asked.

1. This e-coli delivery has enabled the whole of Europe to change people's behaviour with. regards treatment of fruit & veg' to wash, peel, cook, remove crops and even obtain crop loss compensation in line with but usefully not identifying as the cause/threat of radioactive fallout. Essentially within a matching timeframe.

2. If so, was Germany complicit, or targeted/punished, I don't know?

[3. There may be elements inclusive of your theories and mine at work simultaneously?]

Let's see what else happens, but I simply ask you to:
1. visit the main "Japan declares a nuclear disaster" thread if you doubt the seriousness of the fallout issue.

The author of this article did provide the information that has led him to draw his conclusions. I would presume the information upon which he based his conclusions would be easy enough to prove or disprove if one has the proper background and knowledge of these scientific issues. I presume you have this level of knowledge and that you are going to back up your own claim that this source is a "tabloid" and that the article contains nothing but "speculation and twisted logic," otherwise one would assume you would not have had the ability to recognize it as such.

If you cannot prove this article contains nothing but "speculation and twisted logic" then your post has the same lack of credibility you are claiming exists with the Natural News article.

Simply read the crap they constantly put out. Use common sense and some basic logic. Their site is a discrace to legitimate natural heath organizations.

Sorry it is what it is. I need to prove it as much as this guy need to prove it was manmade before he spouts off at the mouth with out any actual scientific data backing it up. Just speculation that man had to introduce it to all know other versions to become so resistant. That alone is rediculous. The bug could simply have grown over time coming in contact with new/different versions and evolving. There is no solid basis of fact that man did this on purpose.

This guy is basically saying evolution does not happen naturally. I guess man made the flu also as it constantly evolves The guy uses conspiracy to promote his articles. Maybe we should actually wait for real forensic proof, instead of guesses and supposition displayed in the article. Contrary to the article, there are other naturally occuring ways these bugs can evolve where meds arent effective.
