As I mentioned, I agree with the poll results. It is the proverbial flogging of a dead horse I disagree with. Your obsessive preoccupation with this story makes me wonder if you have Weiner envy.

My personal prediction is he'll resign. The mere fact that he refuses in light of the irrefutable evidence illustrates the extent of his DENIAL of his ADDICTION. Perhaps his addiction is not as pervasive as drugs and alcohol but it is an addiction nonetheless.

As far as the dolls, I'm happy some enterprising entrepreneur was able to repurpose all those old PeeWee Herman dolls. Their sales dropped after a similar episode. I'm sure you'll toss in the extra $10 for the adult anatomically correct version.

Malicious is such a hot button word. It's just a tad fun watching the Weiner wiggle after watching him lie, sidestep and evade for a solid week on the issue. The man is caustic. Weiner has earned everything that he is getting and then some. His saga is merely just beginning now that his wife and Hilary are back home.

Thanks for adding a little depth to my last post. Hey, have you seen the pics of Weiner dressed in women's lingerie yet? The photos are a bit Antiquated but Sinnful nonetheless. I thought you might appreciate the picture. I'll add it here later. Weiner is one demented cat. I will enjoy watching every moment of his fall from his self appointed grace.

As I have said before, I hold them all to the same standard. However, Weiner's lies and actions have certainly changed the rules.

According to recently released financial statements from members of congress, Weiner reported a net worth of a paltry $5,000 in 2009. Naturally, after marrying Huma his Net Worth rose considerably. Huma went straight from college WH intern to working directly for Hillary over the past 15 years. We all know that Hillary is a big follower of the Saul Alinsky school of thought.

A brief recap of the actions of Rep Weiner as I see it.

Rep Weiner was caught exchanging sexually explicit (written and visual) electronic correspondence. Rep Weiner denied these accusations and intentionally lied to and misled the public in an effort to cover it up.

Since the Congressman is an elected official he should be held to higher standard. Because he purposely lied and due to the nature of his reckless actions he violated the trust bestowed in him and therefore IMO should resign. (I would not hold an everyday citizen, sports figure or celebrity to same standard of high ethics and morals.)

Inasmuch as Rep Weiner refuses to step down he justifiably remains open to scrutiny and criticism. HOWEVER, it is my belief the sophomoric ridicule I'm seeing by some members is uncalled for. It is quite simply partisan "holier than thou" scorn and juvenile IMO.

Rep Weiner has a problem and it goes far beyond career or PR. He is obviously an addict. I suspect many of his critics might diminish this claim but sexual addiction is every bit as real as an addiction to gambling, drugs or booze. Any person who continually engages in behavior that is detrimental to their well being (think crack addict) is in denial and that is a chief symptom of the disease. Here is the FIRST STEP of the 12 step Program:

Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable
