Oh good grief. It's not like Larry Flynt is highly respected by moderates and those slightly left of center (liberals don't exist in the United States). The majority of people view him as a porn king.

The MSM know's most people are very protective of children and these kind of stories can make them a lot of money if it also aligns with their agenda.
While he might be innocent of molesting his daughter he sure doesn't look innocent when he trashes a specific little child.
I'm not anti porn or anti pushing limits but when it evolves into such degradation that even children are targeted and passed off as worthless, that says a lot about a person esp if a specific child is targeted in public.

Flynt seems like someone who fights life with every turn. While the articles I read on him might spin more then it should so it could sell, this article is quoting his very words.
I ask if he could have such little regard for the little guy he attacks as worthless, then who's to say he didn't harm his daughters behind closed doors. He does a good job setting himself up for warranted speculation.

For all the good he may have achieved in his life, he seems not to care much about it or life in general. If people push him off as a dirty old miserable man, he's given them good reason to think so little of him.
He shines the light brighter on the negative then the positive. He made his own bed and it doesn't look good to the majority. He makes it difficult to give credit where credit is due. It seems like he could care less if he is respected for his achievements.

I can see how people, especially "conservatives" would be offended by this statement. People make unthinking comments sometimes, we all say things we wish we hadn't, I think Larry gets enraged at how some people so easily believe and support someone like Palin. I understand his frustration.

Is it possible his comments were addressing "quality of life", something he understands probably more than most here. If you fight to keep someone alive knowing their life will be full of pain or a complete burden on another, then I can see the point. In this case, Palin has the ability and will to care for this child, but if she didn't, would you condemn her for it?

While we're putting universal labels and judgements on people, I have a question for you "conservatives".

"The People vs Larry Flynt" to me highlighted one of the most important decisions in American history and Larry Flynt gets 100% of the credit for making this happen. Like it or not, he understood that the freedoms America stands for should outweigh anything else. He was dead on in his reasoning and his eccentricities along with his infamy helped get him there.

Do you give him credit for this? or because of his other beliefs and adult products do you still bash everything about him?

You should thank Larry, not for him, YOU wouldn't be legally allowed to post things here against him or anyone else for that matter. Yes, you should also continue to criticize him when he deserves it or you feel the urge as it's your RIGHT. I've read many articles from Larry and overall agree with most of his opinions, he hates hypocrites and goes out of his way to expose them, I for one applaud him for this.
