In my recent interests and massive googlings, I was constantly pulling up ATS threads in my searches, on pretty much every single topic. This is what prompted me to finally go head and sign up for the ATS forums. I figured I had been lurking around long enough.

Once I signed up, I come back even more often, everytime I pull up even the slightest bit of what I think is new information (though lots of it is just new to me) - I run over to this site and do a quick search and BAM!!!! You've already seen it, posted it, beaten me to it.

HOW DO YOU DO IT!!!

Chronic googling? RSS feeds?? just pure luck??? do you people sleep?????

I think I'm going to need a crystal ball to compete :X

Anywayz, beyond that, ♥♥♥ Nice to meet all of you

Haha well for me I have no life and I don't sleep

I came across ATS the same way you did and decided to join and havent left since!

I know what you mean when it comes to finding new topics to post, it can be hard since there are people from all over the world on here so there is constant posting. I have gone to sleep and missed some of the best threads lol
Then I curse the sleep I got

What topics do you enjoy most?

I could tell you, but it appears you haven't paid your full fee yet to the ATS PTB, and been through the private initiation ritual. Once you know the special codeword come back and ask me again.

Over 200,000 people almost constantly scouring all types of news sites world wide trying to either prove we're right or otherwise. It's a force that most real journalists probably couldn't keep up with (or are being directed not to), don't feel bad, just keep searching. A lot of the news posted is relatively close to the top few pages on sites, it's the one's buried that can make or break a real story so dig all you can to find the gems.

Edit: Sleep is for the weak! The best stuff is posted at odd hours anyways so they get buried by the fluff pieces before people take notice.

This is why when I start the day and want to find out what's up, I come here instead of any other info sources, because Ats is just cool like that, plus we all get to chime in and run the info through our mill, getting to the bottom o things. The fact that our members are so spread out around the globe enables people in different time zones to post their findings, which brings new info with an unmatched immediacy.
Loves me ATS

Peace,

S&F just for the laugh alone
. I lurked forever and a day before joining, and while yes you have to sort through some garbage. I still find stuff that gets posted here 3 days before MSM decides to run it. That and the fact that there are some pretty intelligent people running around here, regardless of their beliefs, so it makes for some very interesting back and forth. As for how they find it, I'm with you, I don't think they sleep

Indeed. I think everyone has been right so far. We have something special here on ATS. There is trash you might have to weed through, but the truth is in here. And we are finding more every single day.

Its hard to say what my favorites are - I've had such a wide variety of interests all of my life - mostly the kind of things that are debatable like aliens and religion and prophets and reality and magic/supernatural etc etc etc

It wasn't until.... maybe.... my sense of time is all screwy.... but I'll say about 6 months ago, I really started digging deeper - somewhere around the time that missile came out of the ocean near California back in November - that was my first experience with that weirdcolleen chick and the first time in my life I ever heard the word Pleiadian - and it took off from there

I always read about aliens and things, and it was completely shocking to me that I never heard of Pleiadians, ancient astronaut theories, REPTILIANS! who knew? apparently everyone, and I'm the last to find out

As far as I knew, there were only greys - its been a pretty good natural-like '___' trip ever since - I really had no idea how deep it went - I never even heard of the Annunaki...

I'm trying to comprehend politics a bit more these days, I NEVER was into politics before - but it seems to me I don't have much of a choice since they're all interconnected

it is kind of amazing to me how long it took me to notice these things - I've been online pretty constant since early 1997 - for years I did nothing but write HTML/VB, for fun, in notepad - then for some years I did nothing but skin winamp - for fun, PSP v3 through v7 - then for years I did nothing but puzzle/poker (ypp) just for fun - not for profit - I guess now I'll study conspiracy theories for a few years - seems to be like 3 to 4 year cycles for me for everything - though some overlapped I tend to get tired of them and move on to something else

This is so true though - when I get up now I head to my email - delete everything there - poke at facebook for a whole 2 minutes - then come here and check whats the news - I don't even bother looking at my igoogle to see what CNN says anymore cause I DON'T CARE ABOUT CASEY ANTHONY

just sayin...

Aliens and UFO's are my favorite topics and a close tie to that would be Ancient Egypt...but my love is for all things space, esp Mars. For some reason I have been drawn to that planet since i was a kid.

Yeah reptilians are a hard concept to grasp but I think they are possible. As for greys well they are my favorite choice of aliens as you can see by my avy
I have never seen one or had an experience with one, in a sense it'd be an experience but at the same time I have read horror stories of encounters with them so I am not all that eager to meet up with one.

As for Philadiens I never heard of them really till I joined ATS and imo that Colleen chick is just bat poo crazy!!

Ancient Civilizations are also a favorite to read about. You can find some really good stuff in that forum.

I like ot post my favorite threads in the top 3 of my signature and the last one is for my own threads lol

If you like the whole UFOs/Aliens topic you should check out my first signature link if you havent come across that one already. LOTS to read there!

I know when I joined i didnt sleep for a week probably lol Also I read about etheral spiders and well that didnt help since Im terrified of them so the thought of glowing spiders crawling over my face at night well I slept just didn't sit well with me.

I haven't been a member too long. Throughout my first month or 2, I tried, and I thought it mattered. For some strange reason, I wanted to start a popular thread. Eventually, I realized that I do not care, and it became more enjoyable.

What I mean is that I did spend some time searching (For headlines or whatever), and I even started several threads pertaining to a current/recent event. By the time I got the OP looking all nice and pretty
, I would do a quick search, and see that there was already another thread
(albeit some may have been weak without much information or detail), that someone posted and beat me to it.

Since I am not particularly wanting 5 people screaming at me with caps-
"ALREADY POSTED!!!! SEEEAAAARRRRCCCCHHHH!!!!", I deleted my thread(s).

Eventually, I said screw it, I don't care. If I find something that I feel others would be interested in, then I will post it, but I am not going to search for information, that I think others may want to see. Since I was spending time searching for topics to start threads on, I was searching elsewhere. All along, I should have been searching for topics for me. Those are the topics that were right here in front of me the whole time.

P.S. Welcome

For me it's the opposite. Never wanted to start a thread that someone else did'nt already start.

OK.. No one posted about the foreclosure attorny foreclosing on B of A....YET..
www.digtriad.com...
I thought it was funny..but not funny enough to start a whole thread.

You can't blame some of the old timers on here for getting a "little" aggravated when someone starts a new thread on the same topic for the 50th time.
Especially if the topic had a great debate from both sides of the argument.
Those are my favorite.
The other ones? I throw in my 2 cents if I FEEL like it. 9 out of 10 times on any topic, someone expresses my opinion anyway .. so I wait for it to get posted and read the responces.

Pretty harmless hobby here.

EXCEPT when you go to the local brewpub and the smartasses up there point at the sky and start
"OK blank.... Contrail or Chemtrail??" Get's old. Unless I've had more then two beers...then the gloves come off.

Kinda like here.

I don't post on any chemtrail forums anymore.

Phage wore me down.

Boredom does strange things to me and I'm interested in the topics. To me it is nothing more insane then watching the boob tube for hours on end. It's chatting with interested parties on subjects that do not usually get addressed in the public eye. And to me that is a good thing to a point, sometimes it get's even to far for my indelicate ass. But that's besides the point, I just like a good debate no matter what.
