What do you think will happen on december 21st 2012

You are all probably correct about nothing happening on this date, but as soon as it hits dec 22nd, I wonder how many new end of the world prediction dates are posted :-)

I think it will be 2 more shopping days till Christmas. Nothing to worry about except traffic and long checkout lines....it's just a bunch of hype.

I am hoping for eternal bliss of knowing how the many faithful worshipers have met another "great disappointment".

In all seriousness, I'm expecting some epic hoax to freak a bunch of people out. Maybe an anonymous group of hackers breaching a news channel and playing some warning message supposedly from an alien race.

You may be on to something there...That thought has occurred to me too!

I don't know because "I" want be here on "This" earth on that date.... I may return just to see how things go on that day though...if I'm not to busy having fun....

I think, it will be a day just like today, or yesterday, or the day before.

Nothing out of the ordinary will happen.

No end of the world, no change in consciousness ...

A day like any other.

Though, it is true that earth will be aligned with the center of the galaxy....

But... That happens every year on December 21st, according to Neal Degrassi Tyson.

On Dec. 21st people will be doing last minute Christmas shopping as life goes on as usual.

What I think could happen is

forced disclosure.
Nibiru (here's hoping)
The Detroit Lions going to the Superbowl
A large, non-extinction causing event people will pass off as said apocalypse.

I hope its something exciting enough to get me out of debt!

People are going to go bat# insane, while others sit back and roll their eyes. For some people it will be a day of panic and for others it'll be a big joke. As for something apocalyptic...I doubt anything will happen on THAT specific day unless someone MAKES something happen.

It will be the shortest day of the year, like every year. Some newly awakened people will freak that the sun is coming up too far south on the horizon in their estimation. It wil be another Y2K disappointment, preppers will rotate stock, some will become more disillusioned by it all.

Me? I'll be rejoicing that the days start getting longer after this. I don't do christmas, but I will be getting seed catalogs in the mail and will be dreaming of digging in the garden.

It's NOT a one-day event.

It's a SOLAR CYCLE, the BEGINNING of a SOLAR #STORM.

Early 2013 is the beginning of the events to take place.

What will happen:
Massive Solar output will damage our satellites and technology so greatly that things like communication or internet will be out. Think of a massive global black out. We'll be knocked back into the stone ages for awhile.

No massive earthquakes (well, unless solar activity really DOES affect geoactivity), no super volcano eruptions (unless, of course, the former..), no end of the world.

IF something does happen, it will be man made. Not as in HAARP, nuclear war or any of that. It will be because there are so many out there who are expecting Something to happen, that almost anything will serve as a reason to panic. Panic can spread like wildfire. Someone sees their neighbor throwing things in their car and running for the hills and they figure "Oh crap, they must know something I don't" so they start packing and there starts the chain reaction. Really wouldn't want to be in a big city come 12-21-12

A new date will be predicted for the end of the world.

I think if anything happens that day it will be an earthquake maybe riots of younger america (whats left) maybe it will go down hill after the new president seems to my like a virus riddled computer. what do you do? Bust out norton and remove the infected and corrupt files. See we follow the older generation which now a days is the baby boomer generation. Why? im not saying obama is great. (he aint) im just saying if the us is scared anything it should be its own young americans not some tantrum throwing terrorists'' that at to cowardly to fight like a man. Nothing but I'll tell you what I'll be doing though. Either writing something or high off coffee, then I'll crash and sleep for 34 hrs. Nothing new.
