Chinese Toy Company Makes Replica of Stealth Chopper
Used in Bin Laden Raid

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/b5057138f8d7.jpg[/atsimg]

A popular Chinese toy company is taking the secret weapon in the deadly U.S. raid on Usama bin Laden's Pakistan compound and turning it into kid's play – offering a scale model “Operation Geronimo” stealth helicopter kit that come in pairs of two, just like in the real-life raid.

“The fuselage, nose and tail were all modified to reduce the craft’s radar cross-section,” reads a product description on DragonUSA.com, the U.S. distributor of Dragon Models Limited. “This 1+1 package will even allow modelers to recreate the raid on Bin Laden’s hideout!”

www.foxnews.com...

well it would appear they did get to examine
and replicate the stealth helo. and when did
this occur ????

The Chinese version of GI-Joe in action
in Pakistan.

Plus you get 2 models of the stealth helo
when you make the purchase. I wonder
if one model comes with a drop off tail rotor
section for realism ???

I wonder just how close this model is in relation
to the real one ???

your thoughts ???

Pakistan Air Base ???

They reproduced all of that from a recovered tail rotor?

I'm sure there is a fair bit of imagination just like the numerous old toy stealth planes that were on the market in the 80s. It wasn't until the F-117 and B-2 were revealed years later that showed just how far off the mark the toy manufacturers were.

Still cool though.

The actual ones are quite small compared to the Black Hawk. I had a job interview one week before the mission. In the lobby was a full-scale mock-up made for the first interation. A second iteration is starting now with enough test results to make decisions.
The three were overloaded with gear, combined with the lack of dense air made the crash inevitable.
Very small...

well I see 1 difference between that image you
posted and the toy model.

The housing for the rotor blades have a triangle
housing in the toy.

Your image shows a concave circular top.

seems they either looked at the photos for
this adjustment or either they got a look at
it in Pakistan. Cuz it varies from your pic.

cheap labor because government has ran business outta this country and went to a country where toys are made of toxic substances just so people can make $50 an hour and have 8 weeks of vacation.

when china can come up with an orginal thought and invents things like the use to then maybe they will be #1

without the us borrowing and stupid americans buying that trash made in china they wouldnt be where they are right now.

made in china is what most people think but really china was made in the usa.
