Of course you have proof to back up that statement so lets see your evidence you must have some to make that kind of statement or is it you just role out the usual cliches used on here regarding NASA

A FEW EXAMPLES given time and time again on here.

NASA has never landed men on the Moon.
NASA photoshops all the secret stuff from its pictures.
NASA has bases all over the solar system with men on them now.
NASA never tells the truth.

You guys cant all be right BUT you could all be WRONG think about it!

Take a look at the Space Shuttle thermal protection system on it's belly, I'm linking a high resolution image so you can see there are no openings for spy cameras for reentry, in fact if large enough breaches occur in the High-Temperature Reusable Surface Insulation (HRSI), it could start a serious chain reaction that could destroy the craft.

The OP is right in my opinion.I am on the same belief that we are probably hundreds of years in advance of our technology. You guys want to know why none of these advancements come out when they should? It's a simple answer...MONEY! Small example is the sales of 3D televisions. Of course they already had 4D which doesn't require glasses. Look how much money they made off of 3D. Same with Microsoft and the release of their products. Windows 7 for instance was just a fixed up version of Vista. All they did was tweak it and put Windows 7 on it so they could resell it. Also our need for oil should be non exisistent but the fact they make billions off of it why would you release anything else.

I thought I read or watched something a year ago that someone stated that the US Military has technology that is like hundreds of years greater than what we have now.

The project replacing the shuttle is the orion project, I thought this was known already? they announced it some time ago I thought .. and I believe there's been discussions on ATS about it .. it's a capsule design.. basically taking a step backwards if you ask me.

The advantage is that it can travel to the moon, so it has greater distance capabilities but it also has smaller payload and is basically the apollo program all over again.. the space plane idea has been abandoned and they are leaving that to commercial ventures while NASA focuses their sites more on deep space .. ( less fancy, but further traveling, cheaper designs )

This capsule has the ability to dock with the ISS, they also plan to use this for LEO missions so we don't have to rely on the Russians for transport basically .. Originally designed to seat 6 if I remember correctly but it's been scaled back since then to seat 4

Nasa's Orion

Have the high-tech space vehicles not been seen? I think the vids have been removed from "EweTube," but they were a big thing on rense.com for some time. I recall it was a fellow in Texas who put a video camera to a telescope and saw things out in space that were odd. His house was soon buzzed by black helicopters, and I think that means he was on to something. What the vids showed were objects, blurred, and distorted, but objects nevertheless. Anybody else remember the vids or the name of the man who made them?

BTW, the Russians also built a shuttle which looked a lot like the NASA shuttle, and that project went down for financial reasons. Rare photos of it can be seen at darkroastedblend.com.

That seems unlikely ... a camera and a telescope is quite common equipment.. amateur astronomers can get some pretty powerful optical equipment, some of which even include video equipment .. one that I saw allowed it to be remotely controlled, time lapse and motion detecting .. ( through a software interface ) ..

If the gub'ment has something up there, they know the average joe is going to spot it ..

I completely agree that were not adept to be in space. I'm sure it takes many generations for a species to adapt to that kind of environment. Even If we had a vessel that completely mimic's the physics of earth (inertial dampeners, false gravity) People would still suffer from depression. We would probably need a room with a false sun, or would have to orbit a sun for a while every week so that people didn't get depressed.

Take Neil Armstrong for instance, that guys physically fine, but super depressed.

Luckily the beauty and mystery of space outweighs the consequence's.

I think you are kind of missing the point and it is not exactly fair to compare Microsoft to NASA. NASA, does not exactly make money the way Microsoft does. Microsoft is a for profit organization whereas NASA does not really sell a product. The difference is simple, it is called planned obsolescence, which is another scam worthy of its own topic for discussion. It is not in the best interest of NASA to make their equipment obsolete after a year or two, but planned obsolescence is what keeps Microsoft in business.

Flawless Logic?

Ok let me put this in simple terms for you, NASA has been used for 30 years as a facade operation so that the Military along with other companies could rapidly expand out technology in outer space.

As for the real world, if the military wants to build something and invest some money into a project then they WILL, CAN, and with NO approval from any body in Goverment.

Billions and billions of dollers have been spent without the knowlege of anyone on capital hill or the american public.

The Space shuttle, in 1981 the space shuttle made its "maiden" flight and still to this day 30 years later that very same shuttle still was still being used. Now to me this seems like the first red flag. Does it not seem strange that NASA would use the same transport for 30 years!

So your first argument for a conspiracy is that NASA used the Shuttle for so long...

The second red flag that should have made people awaken was the announcement of the end of the shuttle program and the outsourcing of flights to low orbit. Now why would you cancel a program that was supposed to get mankind into outer space so that we could explore our solor system.

...and your second argument is that they’ve stopped using it.

What flawless logic!

Listen. The Shuttle cost $145 billion

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! www.nasa.gov...
Plz try harder

(1) over the life of the programme, which consisted of 134 flights (2). That’s about $1.3 billion a flight, though later flights cost less than early ones. Why do you think that was? Partly, at least, it was because some of the upstream costs had been amortized. Do you get it now? The reason they used the damn’ thing for thirty years was to squeeze whatever value they could out of a ruinous investment. And because they couldn’t afford to develop a new shuttle. That’s how the real world works – very different from the fantasies of conspiracy theories.

And why did they stop using it? Because they couldn’t afford $750 million a flight, which is what it costs now (1). NASA stopped using the Shuttle because they can’t afford it any more; it’s as simple as that.

You are putting it in simple terms for yourself, not for me. This is just a fantasy narrative made up by people who don’t find the reality exciting enough for them (reality is a bit too complicated for them to understand, you see, so they just stare blankly at all the real excitement and, not getting it, make up conspiracy theories instead).

As for the real world, if the military wants to build something and invest some money into a project then they WILL, CAN, and with NO approval from any body in Goverment.

How old are you? This is the kind of statement I would expect a naive teenager to make.

How do you know about it then? Do you have the cheque stubs?

The question is why are the new space craft black? Stealth? What does that imply? Or it just dawned upon me it might absorb energy from the Sun?

I was honestly expecting when I read the news title, "Space Agency unveils new craft," that it would use anti-gravity technology or some sort of new propulsion system. I was dissapointed to say the least, however I'm all for change and advancement.

rense.com does not deal with reality. Photos of the Russian Buran Space Shuttle are far from secret, here is one on public display in Gorky Park, courtesy of Google Maps.

its called a "shuttle" for a reason and has very little to do with space exploration ,

Regular travel back and forth over an established, often short route by a vehicle

You don't need space environments to make you depressed.

I seem to be able to achieve similar right here on the ground.

Please elaborate on rense.com. The site posts links to a lot of places on the www, some fairly mainstream, and some rather "out there." I don't think Jeff's hair is real, but what else??

As to your "far from secret" comment, I said what I did for those not aware. I get really tired of these one-up, back-handed putdowns on anything I say.

There are other sources too.

The money has gone somewhere.

Could Dolan have the answers?

For the first part look at the language used to describe Jeff Rense and his endeavors.

Jeff Rense Wiki history of broadcast psudo science

Nowhere does it cite any Physical Science degrees.

Some of the US presidents had something to say about this.

We know what happened to Kennedy don't we?

What did Eisenhower think about it? He was worried if you listen to his farewell speech on leaving office!
