Two people have died after a major explosion at an oil refinery in Wales, sources have said.





Fire crews were called to the blaze at Chevron, Pembroke Dock, shortly before 6.30pm.

A spokeswoman for Mid and West Wales Fire Service said 10 fire engines were at
the scene.

She added that the fire had completely destroyed a tank, and that there was an explosion and damage to an adjacent tank.

wow all these accidents or whatever you want to call them seem to be getting closer to me .
so apparently the explosion completly destroyed 1 tank and theres damage to another?
gonna phone my butty now who lives in that area and see what hes heard/seen .

ITV Wales update.
‎Chevron refinery latest: It is understood that two petrol tankers collided inside the refinery, killing both the drivers. A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics had dealt with casualties at the scene and the air ambulance was deployed. Because of the heat of the flames, it is not yet certain how many people have been hurt, he said.

I hadn't heard anything about this, which is a surprise considering I'm relatively close (and you know how quick news floods across the South Wales valleys!).

I'll see if I can find anything else out too.

Simple, it's unrelated to conspiracy theories.

It is news, but it's not "Alternative" news.

As for bannings, not something we publicly discuss. I didn't ban the member, but I'm aware of what led to it. Should anyone really want to know, U2U me, and I'll reply....though no doubt, it can be guessed.
