Like all wars and government made problems, its PROBLEM - REACTION - SOLUTION

Problem - 'Cyber attack' from a rogue state

Reaction - Relataliation

Solution - Increased internet monitoring/controlling

Classic government tatic that has been seen before

Smells a bit funny to me

Well yes. That is one of the side effects of being a skeptic. However I would assume that the Global Arms Race and Sale is on the rise. But definitely a hint and a message to the competition.

Well partially. Internet itself can be used as a weapon upto certain extent for non-combatal damage to the economy.

I'm sure there will be boots and blood on the grounds no matter what.

Yeah because high sensitivity systems such as nuclear reactors are hooked up to the interwebz! Like some security consultant who said that hackers could open the flood gates at hoover dam
