I know this sounds far fetched but with the recent surfacing of the pic showing a demon face outlined on Mars' surface I'm starting to see a connection. Demonology and its folklore is often associated to heavenly bodies and superstition with their alignment. Even modern fiction which we take for granted touches on the subject. Take for example the video games "Doom" and "Final Fantasy IV" - both entail demons on Mars and our Moon respectively. Classic forms of literature and Greek mythology also tie it together. I think this rabbit hole goes much deeper than you or I know.

Demon face on Earth's moon:

Yes, yes it is. You have won Space!

The mars face is cool but our brains try to make sense out of chaos so the face we see is probably shadows and jagged rocks, or you never know it could be an ancient statue like mount Rushmore from a Martian civilization! Cool, but nothing demonic.

however on the moon i see a bowling ball.

The only thing I see is... terrain formation that resemble faces. So what the big deal? Demons? Its depends from what culture you are looking from because west and east has a very different perception about the subject.

And of course you should read first:

en.wikipedia.org...

and

Our own planet is a prison and the Devil is our warden.

No demons there on the moon but we have plenty of them here on earth whom we call politicians...

No need to look for them on the moon...

No the moon is the moon.
And mars is a planet.

I mean as long as we are speculating here for speculations sake

I could ask is the moon actually the skull of an ancient space dragon that once threatened this planet?

Is planet earth just a billiard ball in a cosmic game of pool being played by the gods?

You see this could go on all day.

The more I think about demonology the more I tend to think that this ugly and deformed image we have is false. I am pretty sure that a demon would appear to us as the most baeutiful of creatures in order to lure us in and trap us.

Did the Bible not say that Satan was the most beautiful of all the angels?

However, from my experience, the only demons, true demons, are those that exist within our own souls.

Human thought is filled to overflowing with rabbit holes. If you are serious about this idea, then you have fallen down one and for your own well being, you should turn around and walk away.

Of course I could be the Moon's " Warden", and am just trying to guard our little secret.

See what I mean?

Yeah, I know. One might get that sick and sinking feeling that we are not dealing with just dust 'n' water
and ores here. If you read stuff written about what the bible says..it rings some of the same bells.
We were never alone. There is an eternity. Hey, I won't get mad if you huff and roll your eyes..I just feel for
all of us..greatest gift of all..life yet so easy to lose it all. Don't go there..eternal damnation with the evil
watchers.

Looks more like a clown face or that giant white thing off ghost busters than a demon face to me.
As far as the hollow moon theory goes, i dont think the moon would cause any gravitational effects to our planet if it were hollow. Although i have no expertese in these fields.

It actually looks a hell of a lot like a chipmunk to me. Possibly an acorn containment cell is more feasible? Chipmunks at least we know exist.

Nice avatar. Great girls, terrible beer. Spaten is the worst beer in Munich.

Back onto topic. The problem with the human brain is that it see partly constructed patterns and tends to fill in the spaces to produce familiar images. I think that is what we are seeing here.
