I like him.

I don't necessarily agree with or like 'everything' he says, but he seems like a genuine bloke and a patient guy, who has been targeted and humiliated by the media.

If nothing else, the media backlash backfired, because a lot of people found the gateway into the conspiracy world via David and then started questioning their realities and how the people in control DO manipulate the media, how they DO lie and start wars nobody needs and how the system is screwing us left, right and center.

So fair play to Mr Icke for taking it on the chin and not backing down, and I do think he's getting better as he's getting older, still full of energy and is still focused on his message and thanks to Terry Wogan, he got himself a lot of fanss.

I raise a pint.

Holy Crap Man, WTF are you doin here ? Fragile Earth ?

This post makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Please, if you are going to reposnd to me with some sort of pseudo intellectual retort then at the very least spice it up with some pseudo intellectualism.

David Icke does nothing but help those who have power retain that power.
Tis a shame that you are unable to see that.

someone who doesn't think the Queen of england is a shapeshifting reptilian, and make sense when they talk. Icke has some good ideas, but he is way to wrapped up in conspiracies. Once you start to think everything is a conspiracy, it's possible you have become paranoid, a psychological problem.

Nice try on the straw man argument, but as you said, this thread is about David Icke.

If you would like to start a thread concernting the validity of any of those mentioned, then feel free.
Or perhaps visit one of the numerous threads at ATS about them.

Icke is a scam artist, shill, liar, disinformation specialist.

Extraterrestrials exist, so why can't they be reptilian/dragon/serpent in aspect? All major ancient civilizations speak of them and their coming to Earth from the stars.

The 'shapeshifting' theory is hard to swallow because we don't understand what this process involves. Icke says they use their powerful minds to play with our minds and project a image that we decode as real.

I think they are in fact physically living in another dimension and periodically connect to a human host to charge on its negative emotions. They 'plug in' to one's lower chakras (at energetic level) and 'charge' with negativity, just like charging a phone from a plug.

The 'shapeshifting' thing, is when they choose to physically appear in this dimension that we are able to decode. Maybe they are just switching places with their hosts. They come here and send their hosts in the other dimension. To us, this would look like a shape shifting: instead of the person we were able to see earlier, we then see a reptilian-looking humanoid in the same spot.

Everything was once 'paranormal', but as soon as we understood the concepts behind the facts, things became possible. There thousands of examples, but the most interesting is Earth's gravity. How could one live on the Souther hemisphere, head down, and not fall from Earth's surface? ;-) You know what I mean?

We are currently uncovering amazing truths, but we need time to digest them. One day, many of today's 'crazy' theories will be accepted as facts.

Trust me its just easier to let people speak and deny it , if people start missing , people start asking questions and giving the man's words weight.

I dunno what criteria needs to be met before they murder someone, but they did it with JFK and look where all the questions concerning his death got us. Or take a look at the case of William Cooper, they blatantly killed him and no one really even questioned it. Not to mention that there are other methods of murdering someone without anyone questioning the cause (i.e. car accident, induced heart attack, drug overdose, accidental mugging, etc.).

I would think that it would be way easier to silence one person then to let him start a resistance to oppose the plan.

Unless you're an experiencer and a group of you already saw what was monitoring just outside the field of our vision, something that wanted you to see it, so after the 3 of you noticed tall spooky shadows, one walked a few feet in front of you with a deliberate red sticker on an army boot that made an entire outline leap out, and we all jumped. I'd say top of thigh equal to my chest or shoulder. So, the controversial things he talks about really depend on whether a person has experienced what is under the radar or not. I havn't found anything he talks about in error except for having a slightly different but still similar metaphysics, and that could merely be perception of words/meanings, for we write words that have slightly different meanings in each mind.

"What do you believe is going on then ?

I had experiences in my life with Ufos, Men In Black, ghosts, demons, pregognition. The alternate realities and the entities who operate there in are totally real. (I've never been into illegal drugs, alchoholism, nor stricken with visual or audio hallucinations).

I have witnessed thee most UNhuman INhumane stuff out of the worst of the worst nightmares. To me, some stuff just seems above and beyond basic human psychopathy. I watched on TV a man and woman falling from the burning Trade Towers holding hands. Most likely because one of them was far more terrified than the other, to make this decision to jump; or be burned alive. Can you imagine having to make that decision? From ahundred stories up? While having a fear of heights? All the while, thinking, "I don't want to die. I was supposed to be home tonight and watch my gradeschool daughter in her first play on stage at school. I had a lot of things I wanted to do in life. I want my mommy!"

And someone(s) some(THING)(s) F*****G KNEW this event was to be, for reasons of power and greed, maybe more spiritual reasons involving the diabolical hatred of the sons of God's clay and heart.

Go reaearch what the US Federal Government KNOWINGLY did to a dozen little little innocent kids in the burning Branch Davidian compound. It's beyond human. BEYOND.

Yeah, there is a raging war "in the heavens" between good and evil, it seems.

I think going through life with an open mind is a great idea, but if it's too open, stuff starts to fall out. Icke has some interesting thoughts that I agree with, but he is also a bit loony and severely misinformed on some other topics. Nobody is going to be perfect, but reptilian shapeshifters? I have standards.

I watched the videos. I don't follow Mr. Icke at all.

Sorry but David Icke isn't saying anything that hasn't already been said.

There's no new concept or idea here.

He's latched on to someone elses original ideas and like a leech he is taking what he can from them.

David Icke enjoys money as much as anyone. Consumerism feeds his pockets.

Racism has been an issue for a LONG time.

He is as morally deprived as anyone I know.

So now you want to start with the ad hominem attacks.
Yet another logical fallacy.

If you keep delivering them, then I will keep pointing them out to you.

As I have said, David Icke dispenses disinformation.
This thread is about David Icke. It is not about another thread or my signature, which happens to contain the most starred thread here at ATS for your info.

I can always tell the people who have no idea how to validate ideas by the amount of logical fallacies that are presented and you seem solely rely upon them.

Epic fail.

I got my degree in Philosophy. In college I did a special advanced study on Plato's metaphysics- in particular the forms. The intent was to make a distinction between a universal concept and the particular manifestations of it in an imperfect and complex world. It's a fascinating theory- and one that has gained a great deal of significance with the modern developments in physics.

The cave parable is one I think everyone ought to read. It's an incredible illustration not only of abstract epistemology, but, for conspiracy theorists, an excellent illustration of how the "elite" control the way the "sheeple" perceive reality. All we have to do is turn from the shadow play on the cave wall to see the sun behind us.

Please do start a thread on this subject!

Oh, and (after getting distracted momentarily by Plato-- sorry!) I remembered why I was reading this thread to begin with.

I first read one of Icke's books a couple of years ago- I wasn't sure whether I'd like it or not, as I'd heard some mumblings here and there that he was a lunatic. I wanted to give him a chance, and I am very very glad I did!

Like Jim Marrs, Icke is intelligent, articulate and does his research.

The reptilian space alien thing could, of course, be true. Not much would surprise me these days. But, like many others on this thread, I don't feel it's quite necessary to go full on board with that at this time. Icke's theories hold up quite well if we view things as being simply the product of the usual human sort of evil we're all well aquainted with.

What is a real shame is the way that Icke and many conspiracy writers get so quickly portrayed by their enemies as anti-semitic when in fact they're anti-zionist, which is not at all the same thing. The trick seems to be to portray the writer as an evil hatemonger so as to discourage the average reader from actually bothering to even read what the author is actually saying. It's a cheap and nasty trick, isn't it? Happens far too often.
