I already explained what you are asking me to explain again. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. It is very simple. Contrails are water vapor and tiny bits of carbon; the same stuff that comes out of your car's tail pipe. They evaporate quickly. Ok, now give me some long winded, confusing, globalist funded 'sceintific' report that says contrails can persist for more than 2 minutes. I'm waiting...

It's not actually complicated.

Contrails are cloud (cirrus aviaticus)
Clouds last more than two minutes
Therefore contrails can last more than two minutes.

Well....right here, is part of the problem:

....I have, though read in William Thomas' book 'Chemtrails Confirmed'....

Will Thomas is just one of the purveyors of this hoax, and myth. You bought his book? (Or, was it at the library? For your sake, I hope the latter).

Still, he and many others, are in this con-artist scam for profit. Preying on the gullibility of the horribly mis-informed, and technically uneducated, inexperienced lay person.

I REALLY was on the fence with Chemtrails/Contrails,leaning on that its BS.. After reading the countless threads, the countless rhetoric of those who believe in them, I have to admit,WHOLEHEARTEDLY,that the idea of chemtrails is just a CONSPIRACY,without proof. Didnt really believe in them before, now I can say 100%,I have no faith that they are real..Not one person on this site has come forth with legitimate scientific study's,as to whats in these trails. NOT ONE. How does a skeptic believe? With proof.

You apparently don't know how the media business works. William Thomas' book is small potatoes. I bet he doesn't make much money off it at all. The vast majority of people never have and probably will never hear of this book. Your rantings about how people are getting rich by exposing chemtrails are totally bogus.

Contrails are not water vapor. Water vapor is invisible.
Contrails are clouds of ice crystals.

Oh yeah right! Contrails ARE clouds now! That's a good one! Did you just make up that Latin sounding name for them? Where did you get this nonsense?

Then why can we see the exhaust from the tail pipe of a car?

Here's an example of a 1963 book on clouds saying contrails last for several hours.

Ok, so you don't think chemtrails are real. How revolutionary! Maybe this site isn't the best place to do your research being that it is infested with deniers.

Because that's smoke. Unless it's a cold day, then it's water vapor which has condensed into water droplets. Unless it's a really cold day in which case it's a cloud of ice crystals.

It's pretty well "infested" with believers too.

From books on clouds. Here's another from 1972:

So, somebody somewhere was able to find a book that says contrails can persist. I guess that means I'm supposed to forget all the evidence outlined in my OP and disbelieve my own eyes. I was hoping you would come up with the long winded, globalist funded 'study.' Maybe next time.

You have presented no evidence.
Instead of being concerned with "Chemtrails 101", you should start with Meteorology 101.

What evidence are you using to conclude that contrails can't persist beyond two minutes?

And don't say "my eyes", because your eyes clearly see trails lasting longer than two minutes. Explain how you know they are not contrails.

And don't say "because they last longer than two minutes", because that's a tautology.

So, TheRealMrX, explain how you can tell that contrails should not last more than 2 minutes.

That can't happen without a measurement of the effective vibrational frequency, which is normally on the order of about 10^12 s^-1 The sublimation rate is closely coupled with both vapor pressure and molecular internal degrees of freedom. It takes a long and involved study of desorbtion kinetics to quantify sublimation rates in varying temperature/pressure/saturation environments.

And, by the way, I really enjoyed the part of the OP giving the Ft. Sill Airport as a chemtrail aircraft base. KFSI has one lone runway that is, at 5,001 feet, far too short for the massive aircraft which would be needed.

Great! Vintage chemtrails! Did you ever stop to think that, since the people producing the chemtrails are the most powerful people in the world, that they might do some early testing then put out books as propaganda in order to soften up the public? You're really pulling out your best debunking material, aren't you? Try again.

How do you know contrails don't last longer than two minutes? What on earth even gave you that idea?

Nobody understands that super technical portion of your post. Why don't you simplify that for us if you can? Or are you trying to be confusing? So are you saying that Ted Gunderson is a liar?
