Something Strange....

I'm 13...And Approximately 6 Months Ago...I Was About To Wake Up In The Morning...Than...My Mind Felt Locked And My Ears Pushed In From Some Sort of Pressure...This Has Happened Before That...And It Is Strange Like A Voice Is Speaking To Me...One Thing That Voice Said Was Something About John The Baptist...And "The Closer You Are To The Bible,The Closer You Are To Death"...I'm Like What The Heck After...That Was The Phrase or...."The Closer You Are From Being From The Bible,The Closer You Are To Death"...Can Someone Explain This If Thy Have Anything To Say...Cause I'm Freaked Out...

John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah the prophet.
We are in the last days before judgement falls upon mankind.
The Bible is for those who have faith and believe that Jesus is the son of God and is God.
Throughout the bible are prophecies that speak of God's judgment on dissobediant man, and
on salvaltion from the Messiah - Jesus. In the old testament we hear of the "last days" when the young men will dream dreams and so on...

What I am getting at is the fact that people are hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit, and it is true when it says "the further you get from the Bible [God's word] - the closer you are to death [the death of your free will and soul].

Repent now for all of your past and present sins, accept Jesus into our life and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to salvation.

He will return soon to judge the living and the dead.
But there will be a false messiah first. Do Not Be Deceived.

My aunt used to tell me all the time, "don't froget your bible" and I don't mean about leaving it at home or anything, she'd tell me to read it, study it, beleive it... one day it will pay off.

The first thing you need to do is be honest with yourself and determine what was really said. Did the voice say, "The closer you are to the bible, the closer you are to death?" If it did, be honest with yourself and don't be afraid. There is no reason to try and turn around what was said too something you are more comfortable with.

I'm not going to try and explain what was meant because honestly I don't know. However, since the message was intended for you then you should be able to figure it out. Just go with what feels right to you. But above all be honest with yourself and don't try to reword what was said to make yourself feel better. Otherwise you may end up with the wrong answer.

You were waking up from a dream and probably this is something you either saw a movie or somebody made a coment around you and you just had a bad dream about it.

If I was you I will talk to my mother or father and ask their oppinions.

sounds like sleep paralyse. SP is what happens when your mind is awake but your bodies still asleep. often dreams and other things still occur, and you feel awake, but you cant move and often feel thingsl ike pressure, hear, and see strange things.

O .. and I remember I started to try to say something .. I didn't know what I was speaking though.. I believe in God brothers and sisters .. I claim no religion .. I go to church .. that is all I know .. I know what the voice said .. something about John The Baptist and "the closer you are to the bible,the closer you are to death" .. it felt like a whole bunch of voices at once .. I read the Bible once and a while .. and I have never read that verse that you posted .. tell me more about it ..

John the Baptist promoted self cleansing, a rebirth, more or less a type of mind control, although a good one, which brings wellbeing and happiness...
What that dream is telling you is reach within yourself for the answers you seek do not seek them in a book. when you realize who you are and how to use your 5 senses perfectly.... Jesus helps... but the bible was written by false pen... I suggest reading this

Its odd i don�t class myself as a Christian but believe in Jesus anyway. But this story of john the Baptist maybe the reason i keep a bible. I admit i never read it but since joining ats i have learnt a lot about Christianity and the bible, probably more than i would from reading the bible.

If the phrase that was truely heard was the first phrase then the voice could be warning you about a corruption in the bible. For more information on this topic I think some of my other posts would be useful.

If it was the second phrase then the voice could be saying that there is no corruption.

My advice is to try remembering what was really said rather than what you want to be said.

the bible has been revised like a jillion times of course its been corrupted...and that mumbo jumbo about the farther your from the bible the closer you are to death is just to make you join the religion....i do believe some of this stuff but thats just non sense.....why dont you just keep a bible with you all the time....just sow it onto your body and youll never be far away

I agree completely. Since what was really said was the closer you are to the bible, the closer you are to death I believe you should question the ammount of truth in the bible from the falsehoods.

Even if it wasn't an outside voice (I personally believe you heard an outside entity) your subconcious mind could be questioning this already.
