I've noticed that to on here, honestly I've not even been in the thread about the smaller brains the title just turns me off. I think because of threads like these ALL Christians get a bad name on here, where as it's very few that are actually "bible thumping", quoting a passage from the bible in an adult discussion where the quote is relevant to the discussion is fine and should be accepted. However posting threads like this one and several others the OP has posted are really uncalled for and these are the types of threads that give all Christians a bad name. It really boils down to maturity levels and being able to tell a troll from and adult trying to make a point in a discussion,sometimes for some people that it's a very thin line.
I agree with moving the flaming posts/threads to the trash to, honestly if any of my posts are considered flaming under ATS TOS I've got no problem with them being removed. Of course being staff/admin on a couple of other boards I do understand the need for staff here to make a decision based on the best interests of the over all board as that is their job here. As for the uneven playing field that can be tricky for staff to try to balance to, I think they do a great job here.

Often it seems to me that "christians" consider disagreeing with them a flame.

They assume that since they cut and paste straight from their favorite version of the bible that they have the authorization of god to harass people who have different beliefs.

OP isn't even satisfied that I DO believe in God and Yeshua, but instead I am hellbound because I insist that God is NOT as evil as the bible incorrectly portrays him (her, them).

How many "atheists" have sentenced you to eternal damnation? Or asked for 10% of your income, for that matter?

Few christians are satisfied following the simple instructions the bible gives about planting seeds. They jump in, CAPS LOCK ON FULL, exclamations aplenty, and start the judging. Their intentions are not honorable. They even seem to enjoy the fact that others will "burn". It is very sad and a perfect testament to the folly and fantasy of religion.

To The Gut - If you met me you would see how I would go out of my way to assist OP in real life, if she appeared to need help. Without fail. Only, I don't keep still when someone starts bad mouthing non-christians. It's NOT okay.

I'm not gonna argue with that, because that's pretty much the way I see it as far as the re writing of the bible goes.... but alas that's just what I believe, I try not to take away from others their believes and their faith, but dang it the OP of THIS thread is starting to sound like my 14 year old bi polar child in a manic phase!!!!

Oh please... it's every bit as true about atheists. Ditto for the cut and paste; I lost count of all the infidels.org parroting. There is a clear bias here in favor of atheism. Nothing excuses the OP's flames but neither does the failure to trash equally horrible flames from atheists. That's all I'm trying to say.

Agreed. Anyone who has to resort to threats and anger when confronted with someone of another belief system is just very limited in thought. Atheist or christian. It's sad that people actually kill for this kind of stuff.

You know, it is hard to respond to this without being judgemental; but I will try. I am not a man of religion for a large number of reasons that I choose to keep to myself on this occasion; however, I do respect that there are a great many faiths and religions out there and I respect that people have differing beliefs. My understanding though, for the most part is that in most religions God = love and that Jesus teaches people to be tolerant.

I read your post and I see none of that at all. No tolerance whatsoever, you call someone who disagrees with you a demon and certainly no love, because you are preaching nothing but violence and hatred.

IMO if God and Jesus do exist and they saw this? they would be ashamed of you.

Oh I believe you are empathetic and good folk. And that we have a lot in common. No worries.

One Thing In Common: I find it hard to keep still when non-believers bad mouth believers. Or when someone is being a bully whether they are a believer or non.

I didn't get an answer, which rings some alarm bells.

If she is for real it is not your average church.
The terminology (Yahweh, the elect, soldier for the God of Israel, fighting for God all day long) across her threads is very suspect.
She is indeed in a cult, which is why she doesn't respond directly to anyone unless she sprouts more verses.
It's a totally boxed mind.

I've heard of a very extreme cult called The House of Yaweh in the US, but I doubt they are allowed on the Internet, or maybe she hasn't moved to the compound yet.

I know that new converts to a religion are always very fired up. But man, this goes way beyond annoying over-enthusiasm.

I would say some of the words that have been said can be used as good but it's a shame a lot of people use their 'holy book' to such outrageous things. If I'm not a believer it doesn't make a believer better than me(even though they think so ) because they should see that their God(if he exists) created us all as equals.

Although, I would like to hear the OP's reasoning behind all this but it seems she is no longer going to reply without some form of insult/rudeness/whatever people can conjure up to force their beliefs down peoples necks.

Listen, this is getting old, learn how to format a post first off, and second, unless you've got some conspiracy to discuss, take your hateful rhetoric elsewhere. This isn't a bible study site. You have nothing of substance to post, you merely open thread after thread complaining about your threads being closed.

I suggest the mods BAN you now and save us the trouble, this is old, get over, you have no authority to judge the rest of us, and you sure as hell don't have any right to come and say some of the crap you have to users. Get over yourself. We don't need you here.
