icecold7: Here is my take on your post.. Every person gains an understanding of the world around them in a way that best fits within their personal realm of understanding. For a person to develop and grow spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, etc, they must learn in ways that best suit them - within situations and experiences that make the most sense to them - no matter how off the wall it may seem to others . This is the direction I believe you are going, as I can see by your posts you have already obtained life lessons from this personal experience of yours. It doesn't matter what others say because it's your personal experience and not theirs, so really it's not going to serve a purpose for them, only you. So, keep moving forward...

BTW - I am impressed you remained so cool and collected with some of the comments to your post.

To those of who go off-topic about the writing imperfections of icecold7. FYI: regarding others comments; writing style does not have anything to do with ones level of intelligence or IQ, if one has dyslexia or a disability. People who are dyslexic (and often write very similar to this) can be highly intelligent individuals. I don't know if icecold7 is dyslexic, that is not my business, yet that possibility should always be a consideration as a potential cause of imperfect writing skills. There is no known cure for Dyslexia, yet there are tests to diagnose one for it.

I will have to agree with everyone on this. I'm not exactly sure what the original poster is talking about here, but I do think they were so excited to have discovered whatever it is they discovered and that this is why it is written the way it was.

Like a lot of people on here I'm not entirely sure what the poster meant, but I will have to say I am glad they are happy to have discovered it :-)

Crazy? No. A simple magic trick convinced you there is a god? Well, I'm glad you have found that piece of mind, but alas, no magic trick or illusion will convince the masses. In fact, many of us would point out the fact that the entire POINT of that magic TRICK is to make you BELIEVE the ball disappeared when, in this reality, that is physically impossible.

I could even teach you this trick myself. But instead, I would suggest you try to find the video done by "Penn & Teller" doing this exact trick, and a quite advanced version I might add, with plastic cups, then again a second time with clear plastic cups.

This trick works on a few principles, the founding one, as is with all magic tricks, misdirection.

The ball might not have been under any of the cups, but that does not make this a miracle, sorry, it's just a well done magic trick. And don't think just because she was young that she couldn't have mastered this. Cup and ball is a basic magic trick, teaches some founding principles of magic, but it's not that hard to do.

If that little girl and 1 ball made you a believer, you might want to start writing a cheque to penn & teller as their version has various sized balls, which can sometimes end up being large pieces of fruit.

Darren Brown is another i would suggest taking a look at, he can do magic but he's more of a "mentalist" but a lot of what he does is based on misdirection and reading people, not their minds, their body language, muscle cues, etc. He does a good job of explaining what he does and how it is NOT magic(because magic isn't real)

in my opinion:

God does exist.

He can help you with your problem.

You need to seek other help for your addiction. Keeping the above two in mind the whole time.
I can pretty much assure you that if you fix the addiction problem, your other concerns will kind of fix themselves.
There is no shame in asking for help.

Maybe you should try struggling with the English language before you attempt to discern the meaning of life.

I was about to comment the same 2 things...

I don't suffer from dyslexia but the only thing I never was really good at school was writing. I had 90% and up in everything, except writing and reading. I live in Quebec although, so all is in french in schools I've been.

A bit off topic but, I got kicked out of college 2 times because I fail in french writing while the rest of my grades we're good...I wish I could fully use my 140 IQ. People I've known for years don't even believe I could have failed school because I was awarded so many times for being student of the year, I've been approached to learn in gifted people schools, etc.

It's really a shame how people judge writing quality so much

To the OP...I don't know man. You can't just explain something you don't understand with God and say you had a revelation out of this. I agree it sounds magical and I do also believe in other dimensions, but relating directly to God is bending towards psychosis. Be careful to not lose yourself
