It will shame those who jumped on the mock bandwagon and make them realise they got carried along with the witch hunt/ smear campaign.

quisling??? Where did you get that word?
I was glad to hear that the Sarah Palin jury duty is over for now.

It's part of my vast vocabulary. You never heard it before?
I'm still surprised at you for being one. But life is full of little surprises.

She would have gladly served. I don't understand the issue.edit on 6-7-2011 by mishigas because: (no reason given)

probably she would have been a big distraction on a jury and a trial.
bachman is nothing like her.
Why do we keep having these crazy people as "choices" to vote for? We really don't have a choice people, and anyone who believes that we do... well... your still in denial is all I got to say about
They are both great in their own way. I have often stated that Palin should not run. She can be so much more effective as a fundraiser and a thorn in Obama's ass.
Fundraiser for what? Her book signing tour? The bus tour / family vacation? Buying a new home in Arizona?
Today, Jonathan Weisman of The Wall Street Journal had this to say:
Through Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has burst back into the political spotlight this month, while her family life has once again become part of the broader American conversation.
But it is Ms. Palin’s groundwork on behalf of candidates across the country, along with her continued fund-raising abilities, that has Republican leaders and political strategists wondering whether she is gearing up for a presidential bid in 2012.
Ms. Palin’s intentions remain unclear, and unstated. She declined to comment through her political-action committee.
But her influence is undeniable: On Sunday, SarahPAC disclosed contributions of at least $87,500 to Republican candidates she has endorsed, and a tantalizing $210,000 she has spent on consultants of her own.
Tell me, what has she done that improved the country...just one thing? One thing that she didn't do out of personal greed and money reasons...just one
Governor Sarah Palin made history on Dec. 4, 2006, when she took office. As the 11th governor of Alaska, she is the first woman to hold the office.
Since taking office, her top priorities have been resource development, education and workforce development, public health and safety, and transportation and infrastructure development.
Under her leadership, Alaska invested $5 billion in state savings, overhauled education funding, and implemented the Senior Benefits Program that provides support for low-income older Alaskans. She created Alaska’s Petroleum Systems Integrity Office to provide oversight and maintenance of oil and gas equipment, facilities and infrastructure, and the Climate Change Subcabinet to prepare a climate change strategy for Alaska.
During her first legislative session, Governor Palin’s administration passed two major pieces of legislation - an overhaul of the state’s ethics laws and a competitive process to construct a gas pipeline.
Governor Palin is chair of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, a multi-state government agency that promotes the conservation and efficient recovery of domestic oil and natural gas resources while protecting health, safety and the environment. She was recently named chair of the National Governors Association (NGA) Natural Resources Committee, which is charged with pursuing legislation to ensure state needs are considered as federal policy is formulated in the areas of agriculture, energy, environmental protection and natural resource management. Prior to being named to this position, she served as co-chair of this committee.
Prior to her election as governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council and two terms as the mayor/manager of Wasilla. During her tenure, she reduced property tax levels while increasing services and made Wasilla a business friendly environment, drawing in new industry.
She has served as chair of the Alaska Conservation Commission, which regulates Alaska’s most valuable non-renewable resources: oil and gas. She was elected by her peers to serve as president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. In this role, she worked with local, state and federal officials to promote solutions to the needs of Alaska’s communities.
You can't really call her intelligent either given how many facts she gets wrong.

Yes I can, but I'm not gonna play your silly game:
You: Let's play a game: I'll trash Sarah Palin and you defend her. And if you don't wanna play I'll call you chicken. OK?
Me: Screw. Grow up.
Why not? We have all played your silly game.
Us: Sarah Palin says a lot of things that are just incorrect and even border on stupid.
You:Oh yeah well Obama and Biden say stupid stuff too!

And I like the admission of "Us" vs "You". Shows ganging up, which is against the T&C.

Yeah, surprised that you'd post such partisan drivel.
I could just as easily post links to rave reviews.
Btw, speaking of links, please use them.

A troop-rallying campaign infomercial as imagined by Michael Bay: hero-worshipping, crescendo-edited at a dizzying pace, thunderously repetitive and its own worst enemy as a two-hour, talking-points briefing.
Once you realize the film is just going to be a string of encomiums against a backdrop of frantically edited archival material... it's clear that no meaningful analysis of the woman's career or political agenda will be forthcoming.
This Sarah Palin hosanna is done in by the simple fact that its director needs to go back to film school.
The Undefeated flatlines after an hour of empty back-patting and no dramatic edge. Bannon actively avoids any of Palin's setbacks, downplaying the entire 2008 presidential campaign to a few minutes of screen time.
It's a straight hagiography, without nuance or ambiguity or the admission of opposing viewpoints, even those meant to be dismantled.
Somebody could make a compelling movie out of these battles of left and right (actually center and right) and right and further right. But Bannon is stymied by his need to make a straightforward Palin hagiography and, even more so, by his clumsiness as a film propagandist. A mention of media attack dogs summons a clip of attack dogs; white collar workers are posed as the three "no evil" monkeys; when liberals dis Saint Sarah, a shot appears of lions devouring a zebra carcass. A jittery director, Bannon can't abide a static shot of someone speaking a full sentence, so he cuts the image from one side of the screen to the other or slides the person across it like a kid playing on the floor with cardboard cutouts. Over and over, he uses a few themes in David Cebert's rippling, incantatory original score that sound like a happy mashup of Philip Glass's greatest hit but with a heavenly choir for emotional uplift. As a maker of timely, incendiary documentaries, Bannon could be the Michael Moore of the hard right — if he had some saving sense of humor and if anyone paid to see his movies.
Like a Marine, she runs toward danger!

Yeah, movie reviews, which are totally subjective, mean a lot in the scheme of things, esp. with the country having been crippled by that Boy Blunder. Discuss issues and not this TMZ crap.
Please. All you do is clutter the forum with this trivial crap that nobody cares about, because it means nothing.
Stop derailing the thread and start your own in the appropriate forum.:shk:edit on 19-7-2011 by mishigas because: (no reason given)
