Unless you're doing it for any reason other than to clarify biblical viewpoints on homosexuality, then yes, it's gay bashing.

I don't care about this issue one way or the other, but here is what gets me...People say they are Christian, for example, and they are constantly judging people. Judge not least ye be judged. It is the one's trying to point out others' flaws who probably have the flaws themselves.

It's okay to be born again, to redeem yourself and live a more effective life.. in fact many here will applaud you for pulling yourself out of the deep pit you were in previously.

But.. and I mean no offence here... what you Believe is not what everyone else necessarily Believes or even HAS TO Believe because you want them to.

The deep seated Anger being displayed is an issue to look into.

Quoting Scripture is only quoting scripture.. it is not Fact.. it is a Belief-System only. Yes it is one that helps many people like the person you used to be, but your God is not finished with you yet.

You have some way to go before understanding that everything is exactly as it should be now and we do not have the right to abuse anyone else for what they do or Believe.

Your Bible will tell you that it is not you who should Judge others.. that is your God's job.

People who give up smoking.. and those who are born again Christian's generally develop a ferver to enforce their new Belief, or lifestyle, or healthiness on all those who have not changed their habits.. and this is where they go wrong and why they become offended when no one accepts what they are offering.

Christians quote the bible and its ok because they didn't actually say it. The bible said it, and because you THINK that the bible is the TRUTH, its all ok to say anything that's it in.
So then, If one was to put all their faith in another book, then everything that they quote from it would be ok, right?
(providing that you understand that there are other people who have faith in other things).
The other person could simply say "ohhh its ok, I'm aloud to say it because its not really me who said it in the first place... its just something that I strongly believe in".

So now I ask you... What about the few skinheads that still strongly believe in Mein Kampf?
