Ed Shultz suspended for calling Laura Ingram names

Ok, so I've got MSNBC on while cooking dinner and I see Ed Shultz on the screen. I quickly run to the remote to change the channel because this blow hard irks the @#$ out of me.

But wait a minute, he looks like he's about to cry.. What happened? Another tornado? No, he's blubbering because of his own big mouth. He's all apologizing to his family, his wife, his coworkers and Laura Ingram and finally "us." What?

So, get on line to find out what the heck he's apologizing for.....HA! He called Lauran Ingram "A right wing slut" on his radio show yesterday.

OOOOh! She kinda is.....

Anyway, I did a search to see if somebody else posted this first and didn't see anything, so apologies if someone beat me to this. I just love good gossip!

Ed Schultz is awesome. Only one who tells it like it is. Laura Ingram IS a right wing slut.

I'm sure Keith will open a spot for him over at Current TV.

You know, I really did like his coverage on the union busting in MI. I really folowed him for that, but his constant anger gets under my skin.

When you don't have anything to back up your side of the debate, just go jr high playground on the opponent and start calling them names. Works every time.

Laura Ingram is a bit too much of a shock-jock for me to listen to her too much but her radio show is entertaining. Calling her a "slut" is a bit personal and low. I doubt Ed Shultz has any facts about her sex life so he's just blowing hot air. He's got nothing. We have to draw the line somewhere and he crossed it. Way to nail yourself to the wall Ed.

So he only gets a weeks unpaid vacation??? Who do I have to call a slut to get that?


If Rush or Hannity had called Hillary or Rachael Maddow a slut I wonder what the response from the left would be? Would they be satisfied with a self imposed week off of work? I kind of doubt it.

I like some of the things Ed Shultz supports...but the man himself I cannot stand....besides the fact he is COMPLETELY beholden to anything Obama supports.

I would love to see Thom Hartmann take his slot...or ANY slot for that matter in the Corporate media...but since he's anti-corporate and anti-free trade he'd have a hard time finding a job with any of them. You can find him on Free Speech TV...which is on dish network...which is just simulcast of his radio show....but again most don't even know it's there.

Ed Shultz is no better than Limbaugh. They are both blights on civic discourse and the world will be a much better place when their echos have long faded away.
