As we reported earlier today, the Department of Justice and the TSA used financial terrorism to nix HB 1937 in Texas, a bill that would have made it “A criminal act for security personnel to touch a person’s private areas without probable cause as a condition of travel or as a condition of entry into a public place,” shortly before the legislation looked to be on its way to passage in the Senate having passed the Texas House unanimously.

The DOJ and Homeland Security intimidated lawmakers into dropping the bill after they threatened to shut down all the airports in Texas and prevent any commercial flights from operating out of or entering the state, a brazenly tyrannical tactic that proves the federal government is acting more like a mafia criminal enterprise than a body that is supposed to represent the interests of the American people

Here's hoping for a big turnout in Texas! Go Texas, start the (peaceful, but powerful) revolution! Change we can believe in! Don't shoot the messenger, AJ at least is putting his influence to some good use!

If that movement was started from Facebook, its not a good sign.
I don't trust FB since what happened in Egypt.
Anyway, its hard to trust anyone these days.

You're right about that, but lets say the US citizens start to do what Egypt did, and mass protest around the country. It' one thing when our govt goes to a foreign country to help "stabilize" or "protect" the people, but can you imagine what it would be like if the govt had to manage millions of citizens spread out around our country? I don't know that they could hide any bad behavior from us. We are pretty tech savvy. We'd have it all recorded and shared all over the internet. Of course, they could find a way to shut down the internet, but that would lead to complete chaos and anger, and I don't think there'd be any denying a facsist govt if it got to that place.

In our country, we'd need just that, protest on a massive scale, otherwise it gets washed.

Moved back home last fall after living in DFW for 7 years, I am about 4 hours from Austin, if I left right now I wouldn't get there in time.

Plus my boss probably wouldn't "get it"
