I was just browsing the channels and came across this story on, of all places, the dreaded Fox News. But being the person I am, I couldn't bring
myself to use them as my primary quote on the story, so I found the same story at the above link.
It seems that the White House has taken an approach to keep negative opinions about our commander in chief from ever seeing the light of day, by
creating a new position paid by tax payer money, to handle critics of Obama.
I'll be honest, I did vote for the man, but mainly because I wanted to see the United States progress their old beliefs beyond looking simply at the
color of a man's skin, also I was very intrigued at the idea that he may bring a new world of transparency to our government (yes, joke's on me).
But with this recent development, I am shocked to see more and more trends of the US following in the footsteps of Nazi Germany by deploying
controlled media to maintain the appearance of political figure heads.
And the worst part, I would have to say, is that we are paying for it, literally. I don't even want to start to delve into the possibilities and
similarities to the United States and Nazi Germany. I'm hoping that I'm just being overly paranoid, its just this seems all to familiar to me.
Now I'm not comparing Obama to Hitler, by any means, because this process isn't new to the white house and has been taking shape for a very long
time before him. It's just strange to watch as our country, founded on so many virtuous principles, is not even a shadow of its former self. I would
love to hear someone debate this and tell me I'm wrong, because I don't even want to be right.
With a simple search of ATS, you can find many comparisons of the two countries, which scares me more...
What do you guys think?
