I fully believe with all my heart that i had a vision from God.
let me explain: i was on a 2 lane road (it was in first person from beginning to end) and i was in the middle of storm. i felt like i was surrounded by trees, as if i was on a road in the middle of a forrest. only my 1st person vision was focused on 1 tree. that tree was burning from the top down. then my vision switched to this small, puffy, white cloud. the cloud moved very quickly from its original position to id say maybe 20 yards away. and out of that cloud, a white horse with wings formed. no1 was on it. and then my vision turned to directly up and i yelled "Thank you God!" i levitated from the ground probably 3 or 4 inches from the ground before i woke up. i woke up feel a tingly/prickly sensation ALL OVER my body for about 30 to 40 seconds. my heart was pounding and i had to think about what just happend. like, my head had to recover from what jus happend and i had to realize that i woke up. i rolled over and looked at my clock and i remember thinking wow iits only been that long.
i forget how long i was "sleep" but it wasnt more than 30 minutes and i felt like i was sleep for wayy longer.

i had this vision back in March and i still rememver every second of it..

I couldn't help but picture the Tristar Production Pegasus when you described the winged horse.

All seriousness, the floating and tingling sensation reminds me of my out of body experience I had when I was younger. The floating and tingling sensation happened just as you described as I re-entered my body. Maybe this is what you had?

Only 18 Years? OK........ Well as I said if you said it was a dream I would believe you but seeing you are that adamant it was a "Vision" let us see your proof it was not a dream? Well did ask for that one! A common request on ATS "No proof, well it didn't happen"

Hmmm. Does that dream mean anything to you?

I've had several dreams from Heaven...most were for comfort and encouragement. Only two were prophetic and I still have no idea what they mean...one day I'm sure.

I honestly believe that everybody has "prophetic" dreams. I feel most are quite benign in nature, while some are meant to send a serious personal message.

Have you ever had that sense of deja-vu when you feel you know what will happen in the immediate future, and it does in fact play out exactly as you knew it would? I believe those to be dreams that we have had at some time in the past. It's has happened to quite a few or even most of us I'm sure. We have the dream, forget about it for a few days, weeks, etc, and then the dream plays out in real life.

Deja-vus are just weird and seemingly meaningless. Artifacts of consciousness perhaps. Strange though, I never seem to remember them for very long...can't even remember the last time I had one, need to write them down I guess.

Could of been a type of lucid dream by the sound of it, doesn't in any way negate what you feel may be a vision. Perhaps the OP doesn't know because he / she has not experienced lucid dreaming and therefore has no reference to what should or should not be such a dream.

Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.

I don't think that attacking the OP's age is very mature. I believe if you have a special dream/lucid dream/ vision via dream, you would feel it, you would know that this dream means something, it has a message for you. I started having visions when I was only 12, and even then could tell that those dreams were different, because they actually came true.

I'm going to venture a guess here and say the OP's vision might be related to a personal matter and not global. OP didn't see any famous burning building, or any kind of vehicle crash... it was a burning tree, very symbolic.

Just my two cents.

Before I forget, since you were asking for input....
I don't know what a winged horse symbolizes but a horse symbolizes strength, and the color white stands for: God's healing light, pure, clean. The burning tree sounds biblical to me.

This may help with your vision / dream to understand the meaning if it is from God. First of all, here are the passages of scripture that talk about the burning bush. This may provide some context for you.

www.biblegateway.com...

Regarding the white horse the interpretation from the book of Revelation below is a very commonly held view of the white horse though unlike your dream, this one has a rider.

The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in Revelation chapter 6, verses 1-8. The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times. The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2: “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” This first horseman likely refers to the Antichrist, who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him. The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ, who will also return on a white horse (Revelation 19:11-16).

www.gotquestions.org...

Just to summarise, the burning bush in Exodus is God appearing to Moses and outlining to him his forthcoming ministry to lead the people of Israel out of their oppressed state in Egypt to a land with milk and honey and so on. God would use Moses to lead the people out of Egypt.

The white horse may signal the coming of the anti-christ. Now I am going out on a limb here but will suggest for your consideration. God may be revealing to you that, like signaling to Moses that the Israelites would be free from the oppression of Egypt, so too is the Lord revealing that His people now will soon be free of the oppression of this world, through being what is commonly referred to as the rapture.

Rev 3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

The coming of the anti-christ comes shortly after the rapture, hence your dream shifting from one event to the other, namely the white horse. Perhaps you didn't see a rider as it was the horse being readied to be ridden by its rider - the horse appearing and you shortly waking from the vision / dream, but indicating the imminency of this event.

Going by some rapid changes in the world in recent months in particular, it would indicate that the coming of the Lord for His people and the appearance of the anti-christ may be closer than what many people realise.

Luk 21:28 "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
Luk 21:29 Then He spoke to them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
Luk 21:30 "When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
Luk 21:31 "So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near....

Luk 21:34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
Luk 21:35 "For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy [fn] to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Perhaps God is revealing the nearness of these prophetic events to you and beckoning you to watch and pray.

For your consideration.

Cheers

That definitely sounds like a vision - especially by the "tingly" feeling you describe. That's energy. I've had them often since 2005 and being called into Yahweh and Christ's service.

With all due respect, why should this be considered anything but a vivid dream? I accept that it was vivid, lucid, and memorable 100%. I don't question the dream itself, but I do have a problem with calling it a vision--ESPECIALLY since you were asleep.

If you had experienced this from a waking state, like the stories of the little girls seeing a "vision" of Mary during the daylight while very much awake, or Paul's experience while walking on the road to Damascus, that's an entirely different issue than seeing something unusual in a dream. You can call it anything yuou want, of course, but I really don't think it's much to get excited about.

Dear Schuyler,

You can have a vision or a premonition while you are asleep or awake.
There is a slight difference between a vision and a premonition. While a vision can be anything from seeing something about the past, to the future , or images, sounds, etc.
A premonition is about something you see in your dream or while awake that will occur only in the future.

E.g. I had a premonition while asleep about the future once that my brother would marry someone who was not Canadian. I saw a blond woman who spoke to me in my dream with an Eastern European accent. (Years later my brother met a Polish girl while working in Malta, and now they are married)

I know what a premonition is. You needn't lecture me on it, nor were premonitions part of this discussion. This fellow says he had a vision from God; I say he had a vivid dream. They are not unusual and there is no particular reason to call this dream a vision. He can call it anything he wants, of course. It's just that in my book his description is not particularly visionary.

You are not reacting to my post, but still, yes, more or less. I think that if you're going to claim something special happened here, you need something to present other than a simple description, some sort of corroboration. For example, Rainbow described a premonition s/he had which came true. Not everyone will believe it, but for me, that's all the corroboration I need. The key here is to not overstate what happened. The OP had an interesting dream. If he presented it as an interesting dream I would take that at face value and perhaps wonder at the vividness of it and what it meant, especially in symbolic terms.

You might want to look inward and examine why you react so emotionally about this.

All of my dreams and visions that have "touched" me in some fashion were "Divine in Nature" to me, so I believe the OP is finally waking up to this aspect of Life. I know, not everyone understands this because only the Spirited people can feel it, but it is true.

Here is an excellent read for the OP to understand how "gifted" you are by Spirit, this might help with understanding the difference between the Spiritless Humans and those with Spirit.

I found it most excellent in understanding that when we are "connecting" to a higher power we are actually connecting to our "Higher Self", so without linear time in the Spirit Realm, we have already achieved Nirvana and we have already reached Heaven. At this point, however, we have not and we are being "helped along" by our Inner Spirit; it is our connection to GOD through ourselves! Let it speak to you and you will begin to hear the reason it is guiding you in whatever direction it takes you as you discover your own true Path.

Hello again Schuyler,

Please don't be upset, I do so enjoy this little discussion of ours.

I am Woman, hear me roar.... just to clear things up.

Without sounding cliche like I think in this case neither one of us can be right or wrong actually.
There is no way we can say for sure that OP's dream was a vision or not.

We can agree/disagree, maybe give some input as to the meaning of the vision/dream, symbolism, etc.
Our OP's only probable proof would be if OP could state that it 'felt' different compared to all the other dreams. That they 'felt' deep inside after waking up, and after the tingling feeling had past, that in fact this dream had a deeper, personal meaning.
