Keyes would do more for the citizens of Illinois than any one else.

hes never been here that i can remember. also remember, they were trying to get ditka to run as well. i know this race is not that important, but i think it speaks volumes as to the state of the republican party.. its just playing to people..

Dammit Sublime, I was going to make a post about this!

Anyway, yep the Repubs will go to any lengths to win. First they were going to run a celebrity, Mike Ditka, because they know people will vote for someone famous without looking too closely (Ditkas an idiot). Then they were trying to run famous scumbag Ted Nugent. Now after their plans to defeat Obama with someone famous have failed, they're going to try the race angle. Are they trying to say that people like Obama just because he's black (half actually)? Give me a break.

you hit the nail right on the head there. they will do anything to win. i think that they alienating more people than they can bring to them. oh well, i guess we should just sit back and watch them slit their own throats...

Those jerks, choosing unqualified candidates and thinking that the public will just accept it.

Boy, it's almost like running a one-term Senator.
with little experience for vice president just because he polls well in the south.

I'll bet they'd even run the wife of a dead Governor just for name recognition, if they could.

And if they were losing in the polls thet might even pull their candidate after it is legal to do so, and substitute a new one.

Or pretend they're fair just by including one or two black guys into the process, even though they know they will lose.

Unconscionable..

Can these guys stoop any lower?

Wow, I'd forgotten about Ashcroft's defeat to a dead man.
