This has happened in every country, probably throughout every era. People who are considered dangerous to the establishment either "runaway" and go missing, or "commit suicide" before they have the chance to rally cry people into action.

Problem with revolutions - once won, people have no clue what will occupy the power vacuum. Better have a good outline of what you want to accomplish, and how you are going to meet these goals after you fight the good fight.

A lot of times through history, people have revolted and ended up with someone a lot worse then they started out with.

I know in the end , the French were 5 miles off shore shooting cannons from the safety of their ships. How many casualties did the french carry during that war? What many pro and anti immigration people have in common is that by extension we want what's best for the immigrants too, and we want to eradicate the reasons for mass-immigration moreso than we wish to persecute immigrants themselves.

France did not need to fire a shot, the threat of the French in Europe prevented the British from sending tens of thousands of additional troops to the war. With additional troops, and the British navy - they would have held the coastal cities and just endured the guerrilla tactics of the Continental Army.

Where have I said there will be no defined crime nor reform in my posts? Where is this stated as being a part of Socialism? How is it that you think individuals will just get handouts if they don't participate in the survival and comfort of the whole? I had already allowed for free trade. If people don't want to contribute, they have an honest alternative. In the end, it all depends on which "side" is more appealing. It's a sell, not a take over.
