A large explosion set fire to an oil refinery unit in Abadan, Iran's biggest oil city, during a visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Tuesday, May 24. He came to inaugurate a unit for expanding production capacity by 4.2 million liters a day. Two people were killed and 12 injured. The blast was attributed by officials to a gas leak or "a technical fault" in one of the units, without specifying whether it was the same unit Ahmadinejad was scheduled to visit. However, according to debkafile's Iranian sources, the explosion was triggered by his pushing the button to activate it that
A news conference was quickly staged live on state TV showing him answering questions about the Abadan refinery -apparently to put a stop to spreading rumors that he had been assassinated. He did not refer to the explosion

Regardless of anyone's politics wishing death on anyone is morally devoid and smacks of the official US line towards our supposed enemies of the state.
Ahmadinejad and friends stormed the US embassy in Tehran — an act of war — and held Americans hostage for 444 days
Ahmadinejad's more recent exploits include developing nuclear weapons, with which he has promised to obliterate Israel, and waging a terrorist war against our troops in Iraq.

Do you not realize that Ahmadinejad represents the more moderate elements of Iranian society?

Just because Obama says we can kill anyone we like does not make it right or necessary.
The member of parliament for Abadan said a similar fire had broken out at the plant two weeks ago and his pleas to delay the inauguration until the problem was fixed had been ignored.
“Despite our repeated warnings, the managers of the refinery were not willing to cancel the ceremony and they insisted on holding the event,” Ali Mousavi Jaraf told the Mehr agency.

Mahmoud at a meeting of the student hostage takers with their lord and master…the Great Satan himself, Ruhollah Khomeini.
Yep, just the moderate that the USA would want in power over there.
I will take my chances and dare say that IF the uprising that occurred when Obama first got in office had been a success, HE wouldn't be in charge and we would like the people that would have been propelled to power. IMO.
I remember the Iranian Hostage days. So, I say Screw him and give us someone else.
