The match is tool assisted, which means he they are kind of "cheated".

I remember when stf3 came out in the arcades, the game was the best looking game at the time and blew many people out of the water with its graphics, and art, and game play, in its day it was the bomb shizzle. But now a days when looking back at the game and newer games like stf4 and marvel vs capcom 3 and there graphics it really brings back the memories, as well as how far street fighter has come and how its gameplay style of 2d tactics still cant be beat even with the newer generations of games.

One thing though that they should of brought over to the newer street fighters is the parrying system from third strike it just made street fighter way more fast paced and interesting when all your attacks could be parried if you were good enough to do that.

Vid from one of the evo 2004 tournament y'll probably seen it, the one were daigo parries all of chun li's lighting legs attack to win the match with a counter.
