Ohhh, I just felt an exhale! I have chills, thankyou for the good news about one of our own and of your loved ones in Joplin. U2U me if I can help in any way, to help your family and their neighbors.

I was able to talk to my mother and brother a few times, the people in the area cannot call out, but they have been receiving incoming calls. For the last 20 minutes though I only get "all circuits are busy." I'll keep trying.

The EMS guy on the live feed, just said, "I think I am in front of the walmart, I can't be sure though."

That is a scary and amazing thing to say. That particular Walmart would be the one at 15th and Rangeline, it is a very huge walmart!

Police still digging people out, calling for equipment and help.

Over a mile wide with a vortex of 20,000 ft. meaning debris was lifted
20,000 ft. high. I'm thinking an Ef 4 or 5.

Sorry if this was already posted, but it's definitely worth a look. It's video of a live, local news tower cam capturing what I think is the Joplin twister. Amazing. Terrible. Thoughts are with those folks.

Oh no oh God, I am so worried about the children, elderly and pets who are displaced. I mean they are just now digging themselves out.

Just heard them ask where to send the displaced and they were told nowhere to take them right now. I guess people who have been cleared through the temporary triages have no place to go? I thought I heard them say earlier that a school had been set up, it must be filled already.

I hope children and parents can get back together.
Some of the injured may be children as well.
I won't sleep tonight knowing so many are
hurting and also the fact there are still
storms out there - the system is holding
together and we should get it again
in an hour or 2.
