A Few Questions for "birthers"

It is troubling that so many birther threads are appearing with such an appalling lack of reliable, independently verifiable evidence about the supposed "fake" birth certificate. So I have a few questions for the "birthers", please address this OP point by point:

1. If the BC is fake, how did Obama get a position in the highest office of the U.S. Government? Don't you think the government would be better at background checking than that? (Especially considering how rigorous the background check for the FBI is, the POTUS position has to be several orders of magnitude more rigorous).

2. After consistently being proven wrong, you still cling to your belief in the "fake birth certificate" based on faith alone. Why do you want something to be wrong with his birth certificate?

3. Does anyone remember this photo of the birth certificate from 2008?

two words: FIVE LAYERS.

I've heard arguments on both sides as to why the Obama Admininstration released a birth certificate from an editor, which was purposefully broken into layers (created). A typical scan would never be that way... I scanned my own birth certificate as comparison to Obama's and there is NO WAY to separate it into layers. His most-recently released birth certificate is from an editor, not a scanner. WHY? no good reason.

Debunkers already explained that this was the work of "birthers" using the optimize tool in an Adobe product to make layers.

Yeah was that the one that was printed using the laser printer back in 1961?

Thanks for the link and info.

However, I downloaded the BC directly from the .gov website and saw the layers myself. I couldn't reproduce the effect using my own scanned BC with the same equipment and software.

I'll take a look at the links you provided though. I'm sort of a "casual birther"

p.s. dictating how people answer your question seems a little odd to me, are you looking to "win" or get into a conversation about possibilities.

Birthers are akin to religious fundamentalists (creationists, etc). IE completely nuts and no evidence will convince them at all. They live in ignorance and they will die in ignorance.

Just opened the pdf in illustrator and it didn't have layers. What am I doing wrong?

They will put what they want. sorry, just the way it is. No sense being "odd" about it.

By the way, I saw the whole "layered" thing-from the downloading from the White House site to the end of the 5 layers-in about.... 2 mins.

Again, for the record. Obama was born in HI.... but the B.C is full of .... (errors).

First the POTUS is not “Vetted”.
Two. Never, Ever has anyone proved anything concerning the Natural Born status of the POTUS Obama. Either for or against NOTHING is proven as FACT … Yet…. ALL court cases so far have been dismissed on “Lack of Standing”

Third. the copy of the so-called Official BC on the Whitehouse web site is not the same document as the BC on fact-check.org…Two completely different documents. So somebody is lying. Both of these different documents can not be the true BC, one or both are a lie.

So, there you have it… Case is still open, Nothing proven either way so far.

Now my personal take on the matter is Obama has broken every campaign promise he made. Obama cannot be trusted to keep his word. If we could trust him he would have at least tried to keep some of his campaign promises, may have failed in his efforts, but not even trying, well that makes him a liar, plain and simple. Once a liar always a liar.

When someone shows you who they really are… believe them…the first time.

1. Its not uncommon for executives to obtain high-level jobs due to lying on their resume. At least one case a year seems to make the news. If you trust the government do do a stellar job of background checks, I won't bother wasting my time with an argument. Thoughts?

Make your own "fake" birth certificate and try to join the Secret Service. I'm willing to bet you won't get too far into the interview process.

Can we put this conspiracy to rest finally? But, by all means continue to fund Corsi by buying his book.

You're asking rhetorical questions.
We all know exactly why there is a very small number of Americans who will never accept the reality of president Obama being just as American as them and their president.

He is hated by a small fringe of our society and we have seen at ATS that they will stop at nothing to smear the man. We've seen more theories on where he is from than we have seen on any other subject in the same time-span.

Nothing but pure unadulterated, ignorant hatred for a man they know nothing about. They don;t know about him not because he's hiding anything though. It's because the birthers refuse to learn from the truth they're given.

If you're implicating that refuting the 'birther hoax' is ignoring the facts, I feel obligated to inform you that you are wrong.

All of the evidence points toward 'birthers' grasping at straws and ignoring contrary evidence when it is presented to them (usually in favor of youtube videos from birtherreport or other biased websites with agendas).

I've brought up more than once the bias this hoax has been given. It has been debunked and debunked and debunked... if it were any other crack-pot theory, it would be considered hoax-bin material.

At least give them their own folder so they can stay in there and pat each other on the backs for making up crap.
