May 21st was Judgment day. The "Rapture" is later though.

so what you were doing then is going to be your judge for the actual rapture.

That does make sense but since Harold Camping said that there was supposed to be earthquakes all over the world on May 21st and there was not any significant ones , it kinda makes the whole thing a bunch of baloney.

Why? Going to church is the easy part... Doesn't mean you are a "chosen one"

No one is rapture worthy. I guess you missed my thread on this yesterday. Oh well. Enjoy eternal damnation with the rest of your fellow man. At least you'll be in good company........ well... you'll be in company.

So let me see on the 21st I was guilty of out of the seven

Wrath - No anger
Greed - Yes, I was working
Sloth - No, I woke up early and went bed late, But sat around most of the day, so probably
Pride - No not this day, but my actions on ATS may be considered Hubris, so maybe.
Lust - What can I say. It's what the internet was made for!
Envy - Nope.
Gluttony - Actually no, I had 2 meals all day.

4/7 or over 50%

Yeah I am pretty screwed!

If you ever prayed and asked God to relieve you from your sins you wouldn't have been in trouble. at all.

I guess I got up at 5am to volunteer...

...but that is probably going to be canceled out by the fact that my girlfriend forced me to do it (and I really did not want to do it), and that I spent the evening watching Lemmy, drinking Jim Beam and cursing.

Drinking, Rock'n'Roll and taking the lord's name in vain, I guess I'll spent eternity next to Hitler and Jimi Hendrix.

Going to church promotes the building of new churches and the funding and government grants that are given to church groups.
That money could be used to help people who need it more, but instead its used to make a place look fancy and the owners house look grand.
While the people who go to these churches could simply prey and otherwise at their own homes... Which by the way, is still a waste of time because they could be using their time to help their fellow man instead of asking god to do the work of man.

I see going to church as a very lazy, selfish thing to do with ones time.

I'm plenty grateful. I've got a dream job, the best kid on Earth, and an awesome wife. Has nothing to do with why, if the Rapture happens, no one will be taken, but whatever.
