This is the easiest pizza to make and it takes less than 30mins total!

Mblah's White Pizza

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/fef753d2656d.jpg[/atsimg]

Pizza Dough Ingredients

3 cups of all purpose flour (I use bread flour when making any kind of dough for pizza or bread)
1 package of active dry yeast
2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbs sugar
1 cup of warm water

Directions

Mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a bowl. Then mix in the olive oil and warm water. Mix til it makes a doughy form. I usually put it on the counter and kneed it til everything is mixed together. In this mixture you can add whatever herbs and spices you want to flavor your crust. I added Italian seasonings so it isnt a bland dough.

After you have mixed everything together and make it into a ball, next roll it out on a round pan or square pan, pizza traditionally isn't round
. Sprinkle the pan you will cook the pizza on with a little cornmeal so it doesnt stick.

The Pizza Ingredients!

1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup of mozzarella (shredded)
1/4 parmesan romano

1 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
2 large tomatoes sliced
1/2 cup mushrooms (you dont have to add them, I just prefer them)

garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.(amount depends on taste preference)

Directions for Pizza

Mix the above cheese ingredients in a bowl then spread evenly over the pizza leaving about 1/2inch border for the crust. Sprinkle with the fresh basil, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Next add the tomatoes and mushrooms.

For the crust. Put a little extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl with some basil pesto (can be made or store bought) then lightly brush the crust with the basil pesto mixture.

Bake for 10mins at 425 degrees and you are set!

You don't put olive oil on the top, that isn't how this style of pizza is made. You could do it but it isn't needed.

Thanks

I LOVE to cook! I made this cause my bf likes white pizza and wanted to test it out before he got home this weekend. I haven't made white pizza in a long time and the recipe I made before is very similar. I am not a fan of red sauces and this is perfect. You can add anything you want on top, including evoo if you wanted

Yeah it's better than false doomsday

I learned something today.
Maybe I should put some of my stuff on.

Thanks again,

On please do!! I always add my recipes here and I am not a chef I have just always loved to cook. I grew up learning how to cook everything from scratch from my mom. I can't even bring myself to buy premade dough or anything that I can make myself lol

What kind of chef are you?

Thanks

I'm Schooled in the French, Dutch, Italian kitchens. Lately I've been into Fusion cooking, East meets West kinda thing.

Right now I work with students to show them that easy cooking doesn't mean unhealthy food.

OMG I LOVE French and Italian foods! I am Sicilian/Italian so I prefer to make those kinds of foods but I do love my French foods. I am not into baking though, I prefer to make meals instead.

Never tried fusion cooking, sounds good!

Cooking is so easy and imo healthier. It takes a little more time but in the end it's worth it!

I LOVE cilantro!

They didn't have any fresh cilantro

Usually I put cilantro in the dough, which makes it yummy but they didnt have any this time.

I like this recipe because it's pretty basic and you can add whatever you want. I only made it cause my bf likes white pizza and I wanted to try out this style before i made it for him Friday lol My roommate and I are the guinea pigs you could say!

I shall have cilantro on the one i make for him Friday

If I remember correctly, vegans don't eat cheese. I am only thinking this cause years ago I had a friend who was vegan and she would't eat cheese...It comes from an animal she would say...I never understood vegan diets, but i get vegetarian diets.

Thanks!!

Isn't your pizza fairly undercooked? Try setting your oven to 550-575 & cook for 8 minutes.
Looks like a nice pizza though. Kudos!

lol. Yeah.

I knew that was the difference between Vegan and Vegetarian.
Vegan - nothing that has anything to do with an animal (or something like that).

But I wasn't thinking about cheese lol, and I looooove cheese, so I have no idea how I could possibly forget about it. After reading that comment, I stopped thinking. I just scrolled back up, and only looked at your first list of ingredients (for the dough). I couldn't figure out which part came from an animal.

Um no how is it undercooked and who cooks their pizza at that high of a temperature?! That is way too long and 8mins it would be burnt and the veggies wouldn't cook properly.

It's 10mins and that was enough, this isn't my first time in a kitchen

Thanks though, it was yummy!

Also when you say 550 do you mean C or F, cause Im in the US and we use F...cooking a pizza at that temp is not recommended.
