After thinking on this for a minute, (My earlier comments still stand because I'm a jerk) But I',m pretty sure you're right for the simple reason that the thread was over a half page in and nobody falcon kicked this thread!

I mean it took me to do it after a ton of comments.. how sad is that?

I mean it's one of those obligatory rules ya know? Either way it wouldn't have been missed in the past.

I think the issue isn't so much the new members it is the volume of members.

There are only so many smart people in a society and as the membership grows the ratio of Stupid : Smart will tend to shift more towards the society as a whole... We're talking about people who like Network TV here if this isn't bothering any of you yet...
