Hmm...just that most (not all) I've known have been artists, usually of the visual sorts (drawing, painting, etc.) Just thought it was another weird coincidence....

I never wanted to admit that it's no more than a coincidense. I buy expensive lightbulbs and it makes no difference, i always have burned out sockets and street lights hate me and it's been every house I've ever lived. I thought watch batteries only lasted a month, max , and cell phones and cordless phones were just cheap technology and printers should come as disposable. (yes even the expensive ones) I also can not wear gold. It creates this black powder substance that you can brush off. Not green... and it's all gold ... even white, platinum no problem, silver no problem, I can even wear fake gold longer than the real thing. Could there be a coralation? My energy level soars when a storm comes over and it makes me feel like I'm 5 years old again and I just want to run into it. I've never been struck by lightning but my brother has.... twice and my grandmother 3 times and neither died. I am fasinated that other people really know what I talking about. I would love to know more on how to control it as u do. I bet if you can make the lights do it at will you could learn to ring cordless, and sell phones too. Thanks for making me feel a little more sane.

I'm curious if we have more in common or there's some kind of pattern. Please leave some more info about yourselves. nothing to specific but please post if any of this sounds familiar.

Must be a lot of us around. When I drive any car, before I get out I touch the ground, because if I don't I'll get a shock if I close the door. Today, when my head was close to the cd-player, the thing spontaneously opened than shut again. Glass is flying off shelves when I walk by at aprox. 1,5 meter distance. Even weirder things occured, like the the metal bowl that flew past me over a distance of four meters. I feel electricity on surfaces and on electric apparatus that nobody else feels. I can't sleep in the same room with an electric clock, nor can I sleep if my body points exactly east-west. I love wind, it makes my energy levels soar. On the opposite, windless weather makes me feel bad and sleepless.
And yes, I'm an artist.

True for me, but I am an extreme animal lover and share my home with my types of creatures from dogs and cats to tarantulas and Dagues

I lucid dream easily, I dream in color and the best songs I write are from the dream state

I attract positive as well as negative people...I don't associate myself with anything or anyone that dwells on the negative said of life.

Instant Karma...I learned this at a very, very young age and avoid it all cost! Most people have Karma come back to them within months and sometimes years.....not me.....it's instant!

I can share a little bit. I am somewhat interested in the weather and I believe electricity and the weather go together.

I've had a tornado go right over my head and the house I lived in. I almost always love a good thunderstorm as long as it not ruining my outdoor (or indoor) activities.

I've even had a dustdevil form around me while I was walking across a college campus one day. It only lasted for maybe 30 to 50 seconds before I approached a building and walked into the eye wall. It was a little bit dirty but interesting to have it blowing around me. I thought it was cool to be in the eye.

I remember one very bad storm that generated F5 tornadoes had extreme lightning where I was at. I never saw so much lightning like that before that seemed to be brighter than the sun and it stayed on solid (no flashing) for a few minutes. I got curious and looked outside and got temporarily blinded. That was scary. My vision came back after a few minutes. The weather is very interesting at times.

While I am not an artist, I can draw somewhat good. I would like to be more organized but always seem to busy and never seem to get that organized. Besides I would rather have fun or relax than clean up in my spare time.

I forgot to add that I got a great imagination and can come up with all kinds of ideas.

Whew, feel like I just filled out a psych test....

Wow, this seems to be quite common doesn't it?
Personally I�ve had problems with light globes actually exploding above my head, for no obvious reason. And the whole streetlights� going out thing is very common for me too. When I tried to explain this to my dad he wouldn't believe me saying that in his whole life he's never seen such a thing happen. The glass makes a fair bit of mess and I�m lucky if never been cut by the glass that falls on me. Occasionally I will give people static shocks that they say are more powerful than normal. The interesting thing about this is that this stuff only started happening after I was electrocuted in France in 2001.
But unlike others I don't think I experience problems with watch batteries (I don't usually wear one). Other than what I have already mentioned nothing else unusual comes to mind. I don't know if this is somehow related, but often when something happens (like someone getting hurt, or breaking something) I always have that "I knew that was going to happen" feeling. Does anyone else with these electricity problems have that also?

As for lightning, I've been indirectly hit 3 times... Since the first hit was at a very young age, can't say whether it's related to SLIDER or not, but sure would make sense...

1. arced out of an outlet into my hand, when the house got hit.
2. hit near me on the beach, made a cool glass node, and knocked me out for some time.
3. hit a river bank and lit up the water, giving me a jolt, but knocked out a friend (whom we revived with CPR...luckily no mouth to mouth, hehe...just chest thrust)

I don't have any kind of number correlation that I know of, but I do have an uncanny knack of never needing an alarm clock, no matter when I go to bed, I'll get up at the desired time (within 10 minutes of it).

I do love animals, and have more than I'd like (3 cats, down from 4, 2 dogs, a hamster, and fish) to be honest, hehe...

Having light bulbs actually explode for me is rare, but has happened during arguments, or extreme stress...when I was single, breakups used to trigger it quite often for me.

Wow....I guess we all have more in common than we thought. I'm definately going to try the street light trick. Question.....has anyone tried to make a cloud dissappear? I know this might not be a slider issue and more of magick but just wanted to ask. It takes about 5 minutes of concentration but it can be done. It is harder to make them appear for some reason. What I do is, find a smallish cloud on those days were it's just a few clouds in the sky. Then I start to visuallize it getting smaller and eventually dissapear. I haven't had it not work yet....just takes some time with the bigger ones.

Just now, I went to get a paper clip out of the magnetic holder thingy. I thought to myself "let me get a big one", turned the thing upside down to get some clips on the magnet and guess what came up. The only paper clip that the magnet attracted was a big one....coincidence?....maybe but just wanted to share.

No doubt, I'm one hell of a freak show all by myself! I think you about covered the gambit of my weirdness though, hehe....just add in some minor psychic abilities (and I do mean minor, but in a lot of different areas at least)

I'm still trying to get the "Chimera" condition verified...seems most aren't getting exactly why I want my blood types checked from different areas...and is trickier than I thought...

Those are some of the reasons I'm so into paranormal subjects, as I slowly start to find some reasons to my overall strangeness....

We actually have one friend who will not stay the night due to the ghost (despite the fact that she has a far away drive home). She did so one night, and then was surprised to see we weren't joking, hehe... Apparently, he (the ghost) was especially loud that night, and moaning more than normal... I can also say that the spook has been laying low lately it seems, at least with the footsteps and the moaning...(still plays with the lights though, and it's decidedly different from SLIDER phenomenon....

To make matters worse, my father works on the Raptor for Lockheed, I had one spectacular UFO sighting as a kid, and I once was interested in a career in espionage, so you could say this site was tailor made for me!

some of you mention not being able to wear gold.
I can only wear gold, the higher the carat the better.

Silver makes my skin tingle, and I just don't "feel right" wearing it.
All costume jewelry changes color on me within a day or even a few hours.

I've never been able to willfully control the lightbulb thing, well maybe that is because I never tried, but the lights flicker and bulbs always blow when I am mad. It's amazing how I never noticed the correlation between my emotions and the lights, but thinking back on it, the light would blow and I would usually just get madder and blame everything else

As for the other questions:

-never noticed the "11 after" clock thing in any particular pattern
-strays and animals of all kinds are attracted to me, but I am not attracted to all animals.
-I dream in color and remember all of my dreams
-I know certain things too
-I like to think I attract only good people, but knowing all people have the capabilities to be both good and evil, I'm not sure what i attract
-noticing numbers and dates, not really
-i work best alone regardless of the situation
-can't say I am extremely disorganized, i pretty good about keeping things in order

-instant karma yes and no, if i do good, it may take a while for me to see the results, but anything negative, I get right back asap

Anyone ever tried a dowsing rod? I guess "electric people" could also be perceptive for magnetic fields and such.
