Toxic pesticides from GM food crops found in unborn babies

www.telegraph.co.uk

Traces of the toxin were found 93 per cent of the pregnant mothers and in 80 per cent of the umbilical cords.

The research suggested the chemicals were entering the body through eating meat, milk and eggs from farm livestock which have been fed GM corn.

The findings appear to contradict the GM industry’s long-standing claim that any potentially harmful chemicals added to crops would pass safely through the body.

It is not known what, if any, harm the chemicals might cause but there has been speculation it could lead to allergies, miscarriage, abnormalities or even cancer.

One of the researchers told the scientific journal Reproductive Toxicology: “This is the first study to highlight the presence of pesticides associated with genetically modified foods in maternal, foetal and nonpregnant women's blood.”

If you have not read how GM pesticide affected the growth of rice, I'll give you a short exceprt. The pesticide gave the rice some sort of aids that weaken its immune system and ability to take in nutrient, which allow bacteria to attack it, and making its growth deformed. This is definitely red alert for people to wake up. What if the same affect happens to the unborn children. For god sake, people need to stop relying on their government and take action into their own hands now. The government is funded and bought by the corporations. We must start become inform and take action into our own hands.

GMH! Genetically Modified Human! You heard that old maxim "You are what you eat"! Believe it!

All GM foods are toxic, period. We will all surely pay a heavy price for the insanity of unleashing the Frankenfoods upon Creation.

As your post clearly states!

Respect!

It's sad that people put their kids through this out of sheer ignorance.

Maybe this is evolution in action.

The saddest part of this situation is that the entrenched robber barons (industrialists) are so close to being defacto "ruling elite" that they will soon be able to make it illegal to refuse to 'participate' in the chemical doctrine of life from which they profit.

Farmers have been screaming bloody murder about this for years!

We even named it The Farm Wars

Stay away from the trojan horses though: Organic Consumers Assoc., Food & Water Watch and La Vida Locavore. They all supported the World Trade Organization's "Food Modernization Act of 2010" Organic Consumers even when so far as to call farmers "hysterical" On the other hand they recieve funding from the Rockefeller foundations.

The groups who are actually fighting for farmers in the courts are Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund and R-Calf A new organization on the scene is Vermont Coalition for Food Sovereignty

We The People, stand on our rights under the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution and reject such Federal decrees, statutes, regulations or corporate practices that threaten our basic human right to save seed, grow, process, consume and exchange food and farm products within the State of Vermont… vermontfoodsovereignty.net...

Seems AFTER that @%$#! food law was passed, handing the fate of our farmers over to Monsanto's Lawyer Mike Taylor who is now head of the FDA, people woke-up and saw the law really will kill off the small farmers and the local food movement. That the law really does include ALL farms....

.....(h) Small Entity Compliance Guide- Not later than 180 days after promulgation of a final rule under subsection (d), the Secretary shall issue a small entity compliance guide setting forth in plain language the requirements of the regulations under such subsection in order to assist small entities, including farms and small businesses, in complying with the recordkeeping requirements under such subsection.....

SEC. 204. ENHANCING TRACKING AND TRACING OF FOOD AND RECORDKEEPING.
....
(A) develop and demonstrate methods for rapid and effective tracking and tracing of foods in a manner that is practicable for facilities of varying sizes, including small businesses;

(B) develop and demonstrate appropriate technologies, including technologies existing on the date of enactment of this Act, that enhance the tracking and tracing of food; and

(C) inform the promulgation of regulations under subsection (d)....
www.govtrack.us...

So much for small farms being "exempt"

I really really hope it is not too late because the New law states"

SEC. 404. COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS.

Nothing in this Act (or an amendment made by this Act) shall be construed in a manner inconsistent with the agreement establishing the World Trade Organization or any other treaty or international agreement to which the United States is a party.

Why is this important?

GM food must be allowed into Europe, WTO rules

Europe faces new pressure to open its markets to genetically-modified food from the US after the World Trade Organization ruled that the EU broke international rules with its moratorium on new licences.

A lengthy and complex preliminary ruling from the WTO said that a de facto Europe-wide ban, which prevented new corn, cotton and soybean products from entering the European market, was not based on scientific concerns.

American sources also said that the WTO had found that six individual states - France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Luxembourg and Greece - broke the rules by applying their own bans on marketing and importing GMOs.... breakfornews.com...

WTO, GMO and Total Spectrum Dominance

WTO rules put free-trade of agribusiness above national health concerns
by F. William Engdahl

...The WTO three-judge panel, chaired by Christian Haberli, a mid-level Swiss Agriculture Office bureaucrat, ruled that the EU had applied a 'de facto' moratorium on approvals of GMO products between June 1999 and August 2003, contradicting Brussels' claim that no such moratorium existed. The WTO judges argued the EU was ‘guilty’ of not following EU rules, causing ‘undue delay’ in following WTO obligations.

The secretive WTO tribunal also ruled, according to the leaked document, that in terms of product-specific measures, the completion of formal EU government approval to plant specific GMO plants had also been unduly delayed in the cases of 24 of 27 specific GMO products that the European Commission in Brussels had before it.

The WTO tribunal recommended that the WTO Dispute Settlement Body (DSB), the world trade policeman, call on the EU to bring its practices ‘into conformity with its obligations under the (WTO’s) SPS Agreement.’ Failure to comply with WTO demands can result in hundreds of millions dollars in annual fines.... www.globalresearch.ca...

Midnight, thanks for bringing this news to us here on ATS.

GMO corn that has pesticides inserted into the genes of the plant is to blame!

Over the past years I have been fairly..obsessed with the terror that are GM foods, so this isnt suprising as there is no way any GMO can be healthy or safe to ingest, hell, they arent safe to exist. Sitting here this morning four months pregnant with twins it becomes even scarier (if that were possible really). With the fields planted, i cant even fully believe theres any longer such a thing as 'organic' foods because of it, no matter how careful the government claims it has been to control any cross pollination..

Ugh... And here I was, planning to move to Europe as soon as I can afford to. My number 1 reason: they avoid GM foods.

I'm seriously starting to understand why so much of the world wants to see us dead. I'm beginning to think, for humanity's sake, that they're right.

Sometimes I wish a few nukes or something would go off and just wipe this pitiful country off the map. We're doing more harm than good.

wow.. thank you for posting that artical, its one thing of a few that has kept me in the UK and out of America is they are a lot more strict than the U.S on GMOs and the packaging has to be labeled if any GM products are used, so at least it can be avoided.. i was very excited to find recees peanut butter cups (were my favorite chocolates ever) over here for the first time living in the UK, ate a couple without even thinking and then read the small print!! devistated. Over all though here you get a lot of packaging that says right on the front No GM Products used, and certain companies, for now, refuse to use them in any of there products..

Great thread, let's keep this news coming. Hopefully it will eventually be too much for Monsanto to deal with. Seems like every week we have new, crippling information coming out about GM foods.

Here's a thread I posted a few weeks ago, with the same info
