The SWORD and the STONE

Approximately 7,000 years ago a great tragedy befell mankind.

A destructive flood sweep across the Earth bringing death and destruction and an ending to a period of great wonder and happiness ... the ending of the harmony with God which resulted in mankind being kicked out of the garden of Eden, his days shortened ...death becoming his constant shadow.

All of this was caused because the “Sword was withdrawn from the Stone.”

The “Stone” was left alone ...

Great kings of men were allowed to retain the secret knowledge of the “Stone.”

These men swore to guard the secret to the time of the returning of the “Sword” ... to protect the “Stone” ... and guard it they have. They have murdering thousands and thousands in their quest to keep the secret, always seeking to hide it's identity in deeper and deeper layers of myth and legend, until the secret of the “Stone” became no more than symbols and statues.

But always the rumor of the “Stone” remains and the wish for the “Sword” to return.

Mankind has built idol after idol in honour of the “Stone,” we have blamed one another for the removal of the “Sword” … but it was never our fault, it was simply that the “Stone” was unbound for a set period .. set free. Now almost no one knows the “Stones” whereabouts and even if they did, it wouldn't do them any good because the “Sword and the Stone” are both required and the “Sword” … is missing.

But the apocalypse cometh and the “Stones” time is now short, very short because the guardians are beginning to reveal the secret of the “Stone” ....

Signalling the “Sword” ...is about to return?

But “Stone” does not know it's own identity, does not see men closing in around it, ready to round it up!

Everyday evil men plot and plan “Stones” round up and everyday they give away a bit for information about who you are“Stone.”.

Oh “Stone” will you not see the danger?

All your freedom and abandonment is about to come to a halt, your happy days of making lots of little “Stones” is about to come to an abruptly end.

“Stone” watch out, evil men wish to drag you off to “Sword” who will imprison you once again. Lock you away and use you, give your wears to evil men … and although it will bring about peace and harmony on Earth, what about you “Stone” … shouldn't your needs be met, shouldn't you be allowed your freedom?

But no “Sword” has other plans for you, he is seeking you, all his thoughts are bent on it and although “Sword” longs to unite with you and once more be one with you “Stone,” for 7000 years he has allowed you your freedom. Watched with pleasure as you flocked around and multiplied all over the Earth, now you are like grains of sand on a beach and “Sword” and all his sons are most pleased … you have been fruitful “Stone” and now thousands of little “Stones” need to be worried about thousands of “Swords.” seeking them out and the evil men in “Swords” employ who desire greatly the treasures promised by “Sword.”

Beware “Stone” ...“Sword” wishes to plunge your deaths and seduce you … tempt you with his charming ways.

“Sword” is most wicked … you must beware, you are easily lead astray, tempted by things you should run away from.

“Stone” beware, your old foe is returning, don't be lured in and charmed, please wake up before it's too late ... stop your idle dreaming ...

“Stone” … they have you surrounded!

Oh dear “Stone” the situation is most dire ...

What should I do, I don't want to give away your secret ... allow others to find you but if you are not told of your identity soon, you will have no hope of escape.

While you're still free there is at least a glimmer of hope for you “Stone.”

If I tell you what you are symbolised as, will that help you “Stone”? Will you shake the sleeping dust out of your eyes and wake up?

You are the philosophers Stone. (turning lead into gold is symbolism for transforming something from being mortal into something immortal.)

Oh “Stone” so long have you been out in the wide world alone, do you not see who you are?

What must I do to let you see your identity? How would you know anyway? The world is full of “Stones” billions of them in fact and most are just ordinary stones, that have no need to fear evil men and … “Sword.”

Should I just pray for you and just hope you are just an ordinary stone? Maybe not ... maybe that would just be unfair to you stone?

All things religious come from earlier beginnings. Many associate the Crescent moon and the Star within as an Islamic symbol actually it was Christian before that and before that probably Egyptian as most things do stem from there.



So what is the Crescent and the Star?

I am pretty certain the Crescent is the shape of a pouch and the Star is the pentacle which did have great importance in the ancient world.
