This is believed to be about a 90 million year old Concretion, as old as the last eruption of the Wolf Creek Volcano, near Pagosa Springs Colorado, U.S.A. It weights several hundred pounds and is believed to be the only one of its kind in the world. This Concretion has what appears to be some type/form of an incision followed by some type/form of stitches, about 2.5 feet long. Any information that would explain this Concretion and or its strange markings is greatly appreciated. The stitch looking mark(s) are real and are not a joke or anything of the like. Everything that you see is real! Some people have called it a Dinosaur Turd, Alien Time Bomb. What is your take on this? Forward this to anyone whom has knowledge of what is really is.

sorry if video dose not post i horrible at that if not go to youtube and search CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS ? - WHAT IS IT !!!! - MARCH 29, 2011

'I have tried to bust it open with a sledge hammer' LOL. What was he expecting to find inside it?

did some research on concretions. I guess they break them open all the time, they usually form around objects *(fossil's, they found some with weapons inside). So there might be something inside of it? Who knows

Going off the video:

The guy uses a steel tape measure to point at the 'stitches.' He says it takes 'at least seven strong men and a dolly' to move it.

That's BS. Two average built people could shift that no problem. One guy would just roll it. At 11 minutes in he moves it with one hand...

If you look at the 'stitches,' they are the only areas with disturbance to the 'patina.' The scratches, dust and brightness indicates some recent interference by modern tools.

It's a hoax.

Ignoring the obvious signs of excrementalism, try and imagine a scenario that involves any intelligence 'stitching' together rock?

I didn't watch the whole video so the next question may have been answered but how is it measured to be 90 million years old?

I also was curious how something could be of that age and still show the stitch marking as clearly as it did. I would think that being it is a concretion the stitching would be mostly covered.

Why is this not being studied by someone who actually knows more about these things? Some guy claims to have a 90 million year old artifact and he keeps it in his yard?

A day with me and I would know what was in the center of that thing. How could you have something like that and not cut it open to see what hides inside?

Yea I think its a hoax also. The way he started to spin it and barely could and then all of the sudden it spun like a top. I don't know how 6 - 7 men could get a hold of such a small rock at the same time anyways.

It's concretion alright, perhaps by QUIKRETE.

wouldnt say HOAX but intresting none the less. the stitching looks real i doubt someone would have stitched a rock together being it probally wasnt a rock 90 million years ago. A geologist checked it out, thats how he found out it was a CONCRETION and not a rock. Ad far as him moving it well thats easy its round and unlevel so turning it wouldnt be a problem....lifting is another question. The age seems outta whack but what do i know im not a geologist.

Regards

I know what it is - it's a fossilised football from the Annunaki World Cup!

Seriously though, not only does he attempt to break it open with a sledgehammer but a bit further into the vid he informs us that, since he has it sitting outside it started weathering away so he painted it with some kind of concrete preserver to stop it weathering
If this is a genuine concretion with anomalous features and not something that this guy just cooked up in his garage then someone needs to take it off him, cos the poor thing just ain't gonna survive much longer the way he's treating it.

I don't believe that this is a hoax at all, but I also do not believe that these are stitches. What we need here is a botanist. Yes....a botanist. Concretions are made over time around pebbles, animal and plant material. This looks to me as though the concretion was made over top of a plant or root of a plant that had either berries or nodules of some kind along its length. When the concretion was removed....VOILA! ...there it was just like a jello mold. Here are some examples of "Fairy Stones" or concretions of many shapes & sizes.

Is there a link to some documentation on this?

Youtube is full of hoaxes -- if you've ever watched "Mythbusters" you'll know just how unreliable Youtube reports are. If I understand it, there's a guy with a rock that he tells you is 90 million years old (no location, no strata, no nothing) with 'stitches'. It's easy enough to find a buddy to say "I'm a scientist and I know this is 90 million years old."

The patina looks new. I agree it has all the earmarks of a hoax.

Could his “stitches” be tracks?

Granted, this one is much older, but could some little tail dragging critter have walked across his concretion before the outside hardened?

I'm a not a geologist but if this is believed to be the only one of its kind in the world and its 90 million year old i sure wouldn't be keeping it out in the yard and if he showed this Concretion to a geologist i would think he would be dieing to study it and take samples and open it with the proper tools not a sledge hammer ..I have no idea what the stitches are if thats even what they are and i don't think it weighs what he says it does..I think this thing is most likely a hoax the so called stitches look rather fresh to me not ancient..just my 2 cents

He didn't move it with just 1 hand 11 minutes in thats an outright lie. You can't even see the cameras now zoomed out all the way so you can't tell if hes actually using both hands or not. It clearly looks like he is using both hands by the way he has his 1 hand on the rock 11 minutes into the video.

An outright lie? It moves at 11 minutes with no sign of 'seven strong men' and one hand visible.

Maybe it's a unicorn's egg that's been hidden in plain sight?

Maybe it's another internet wise-guy with a hoax?
