Well Im going to have to pay more attention to the rapture hysteria in the future.... I mean the opportunity for rapture product invention and sales is apparently staggering. BH's "Rapture Hatch" actually made me laugh out loud!

My oldest daughter and her friends bought a bunch of clothes from Goodwill and are currently doing "rapture art".. should have some amusing pics by tonight.

In all seriousness... me too at times. I waffle between pity and thinking that they get what they deserve for being stupid and believing charlatans. Im not even a xtian, but I have a good idea from their own texts that the rapture isnt going to be predicted to the hour by some doof. Id written a more serious post in the other section concerning the people I work with in victims services. Hearing from a parent of a murdered child that they hope they are raptured to be reunited with their dead loved one truly makes me want to take a hit out on this stupid "prophet".

If anything this "prophet" has only been blind hope, making people think that happiness is aroudn the corner, and they don't have to do anything for it. I am catholic, but I don't believe that you should pray for something, and do nothing and you will recieve. if anyhting I am like my father. I was raised to take care of others, even if it was for nothing. Don't let religion be your excuse for doing anything, do it yourself.
