To say the US is going to "attack" Persia is like saying a Grizzly Bear is going to maul a Dachshund! No, the US isn't going to attack Persia, because, they really don't have any oil in the first place, and in the second place, we don't need to give our troops any more "wargaming" experience. Attack Persia, Good one! any other LAME idea's ?????

for a LAME idea I got plenty of inspirations : attack China or even attack Australia... kill all the "put the people name you don't like"...

Plus Persia doesn't exist anymore, now a little part of Persia has become Iran... And maybe, if they wasn't any mess some times ago we wouldn't have to deal with the "fanatic iranian oppressors".

Whole world governments knew about the demolition in advance. So what?? Where came the nuclear bombs from, which went off in the basements? Were they made by Ayatollahs, too? Hard to believe. And wasn't Hussein the bad guy in the first place, they killed a few years ago? Who will they blame next? Whole story is totally ridicolous.

Well this kind of talk must make half of ATS think they're psychic or something. In reality this is just so stupid and predictable that we think "no way they would ever do something that stupid" and after awhile they do.

It sure doesnt make me feel psychic. If you just listen and watch what they are doing, you can have a pretty good idea what they are up to. The minute they claimed to have killed Osama and started chanting that we should "all unite like on 9-11" I knew they were planning a war. It was just a matter of who. The most obvious target was Pakistan, but when looking at the details, it made it really unlikely we would really go there right now.

Looking at all the little details, it looked like Iran was at a particularly weak moment. Which made it much more likely we would go there.

I still think whats going on in Pakistan is just to keep them out of anything with Iran. Get India a little fired up, accuse them of all kinds of stuff, and then pressure them to prove their friendship to us by letting us stage there or even assisting. Scare them into acting against their best interests, in other words.

Which is stupid on their part, because once we take Iran out, they are next.

Iran Attack Imminent With Accusation of 9/11 Role

It seems that with every turn, the subject of 9.11 is getting the 'Roswell Treatment'. This is when a subject that is under heavy public scrutiny becomes so purposely confused with so many conflicting stories that whatever truth there is to be found, is lost in the madness.

The only way to avoid this treatment is to remain focused on one or two aspects of the subject without relenting a single inch.

This is kind of like keeping your eyes on a single, lit candle in a room full of flashlights all being purposely pointed directly into your eyes.

Wow. After ten years. Wow. Just after They "killed" Osama. Wow.

I didn't read the replies, but I am sure I am not the first to point this out... But this reeks of social manipulation. Just reeks.

But of course... It will work and We will be led into WWIII - frenzied eyes reflecting fear, believing it's "real," and that there is a reason to kill and a reason to die.

Yeah ummm...good luck with that
Us Aussies would just retreat inland and let all our nasty, poisonous animals and insects decimate the invasion force - then we'd push back out and own the rest

Australia and the US wont go to war, we are owned by the same people more or less, same as Canada. We can posture at one another here on the boards all we like but in reality all our governments are being manipulated by the same globalist corporatist forces. The only way we would ever war on one another is if one of us tries to take back control of our country from them.

The we too will become "terrorists" on the global stage.

The article says that a couple defectors have accused Iran of complicity in the 9/11 attacks, and yet you folks already have Obama invading Iran as if he were a GW Bush bobble-head toy. When Obama mentioned the unity we had just after the attacks in 2001, maybe what he meant was, "Hey, remember how after the attacks, that we all liked each other, and we weren't all pissing upstream from each other? Wouldn't it be great if we could try that kind of thing again for a change?"

We don't have an army to invade Iran. It just doesn't exist. We'd have to hire China to do it for us, but then, we already owe them money, so forget that. Hell, we can even get Congress to agree on keeping us from defaulting on our debt as it is now.

Nope, it just sounds like you people are chasing each other off a cliff again.

I have a question on the war vs debt portion of this debate. That debate being...would going to war help or hurt the US economy.

If we did go to war with Iran, and assume that China and other countries jumped in. If we ended up at war with our debtors, would that (in the whole scheme of things) make our debt go away? Would we denounce our debt since we are at war with some debtors? Would we (assuming victory) wash our debt against the cost of war to clear our debt?

And now the big one...how much time at war (forgetting lives...we don't seem to worry about that) would offset 14 trillion dollars?

IF just Obama said it, one time, you would have an argument. But when multiple people say it, over and over again, you are hearing the propaganda machine instilling a meme. And there is ALWAYS a motive for that.

You think "America" is a nation on its own. How cute. But thats not the game we have been playing recently. Pay attention. As the globalists have been eroding borders and national sovereignty, they have also increasingly been using armies in collaboration. It doesnt much matter how many troops we have. We have equipment. Bodies can be pulled in from wherever they want, like merged in mercenaries with the rebel forces in Libya from wherever they could scrape them up.

If "we" attack Iran, there will be multiple nations involved. Not just the US. Because the same people control multiple nations, and the interests being served by these wars arent national interests, but globalist ones. Citizens get suckered into supporting wars by the trotting out of flags and the chanting of nationalist slogans, "USA USA," but its not in the USA's best interest to be at war right now. Its in the globalists best interests to run up Americas debt as high as it possibly can furthering THEIR interests and leaving "we the people" to pay the check.

It's kind of hard not to come to the conclusion that we are about to enter into a war with Iran:

1. Iran is said to have been involved in 9/11
2. Iran goes nuclear
3. Iran is said to be supplying weapons to terrorists and North Korea
4. Iran and Syria and Egypt are forging closer ties
5. Obama states Israel should return to 67 borders (I believe this was a token offering to the Middle East, everyone knew it was ridiculous)
6. Iran dismantles a CIA network spanning several Middle East countries
7. Obama draws out Iran several times for cracking down on protesters and relates it to Arab Spring even though it was two years ago
8. Says three times that the US and Israel are united in their opposition to Iran in speech with Netayanhu

Edit to add:
Another thought would be that going to war with Iran could easily result in another draft. It will be a world war and China will get involved, as well as Russia, although probably not right away. Initiating a draft would certainly "fix" our unemployment numbers as well. War is always the go-to choice when we are facing complete bankruptcy anyway.

No they arent. For one, war with Iran is a matter of time. And opportunity. Just because sometimes there is a lead up, and things happen that cause them to change course or delay action does not mean that you can realistically compare a political and economic goal with some event that is based on myth.

Selling a war is complex. For instance had people reacted better to the Osama drama, I think we would be further down the road to actual conflict right now. But there was a lot of doubt and suspicion, and it threw off the timing. Now, more "evidence" is being tossed out to stir the masses against Iran. You need the people to be behind you when you go to war, at least to some degree. Its not an exact science, and it doesnt always play out on the schedule the orchestrators want it too.

Of course Americans will accept anything along with their Congress and Judiciary. Afterall, Obama built his adult life around fraud. Social Security # fraud, Birth Certificate fraud, and real estate fraud. The MAJORITY of Americans know this but their Congress and Judiciary and press will not touch the subject. So AMERICA, the leadership of it anyway, will do anything. They have no code of conduct, no constitutional law (rule of law) and Obama will not follow anything but what he himself dictates. The country as a shining city on the hill, and beacon for the rule of law, and capitalist society that rewards innovation, is about over.
