Of course I'm not serious and believe in Vampires. Besides, rumor has it, that the Zombies drove them all underground.

The disease porphyria, a blood disorder has been linked to vampirism, since its symtpoms include a lack of heme in the blood, and photophobia. It can also have psychological effects.

Although medicaly speaking porphyria does not directly cause a sufferer to require to DRINK human blood, some sufferers have been known to allow the psychological aspects of the disease, to cause them to kill and drink. Its pretty damned rare though, to have the type of porphyria which would force a person into this scenario, but this mosquito discovery wont help that small number of folks at all !
