Sorry buddy but about the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan...

We'll never be out of Iraq (we have set up permanent bases there)...

And there is no troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, my older brother just got deployed there (after 2 tours in Iraq - he's Army) about 2 weeks ago...

sooo yeah.

And he cannot claim slave ancestry either.
He pushes his Kenyan roots, neglects his American ancestry because that woudl interfere with his "black" status.
Cannot understand why brown skinned people call black.
Severe cases of colour blindness?

I'm not sure whether I should be taking you seriously half the time dude...

You're either being completely sarcastic, you're on this forum just to get your kicks off (most likely knowing your posting history), or you're a brain washed sheep....or all of them put together?

K. Here we go.

You promised that your administration would be "transparent." Is that why the very first thing you did upon taking office was to seal all of your college records; your scholarly articles from the Harvard Law Review and University of Chicago for instance.

IF you'd read something other than the blog that fed you this pablum - you'd have learned that this order ONLY affects the things done WHILE president - NOT before. You'd have also realized that this was debunked many, many, many times - 3 years ago. Try to keep up please.

Barry, you have to realize that as the President of the United States, the citizens of this country have a right to know about who is in charge. You gave up your right to privacy when you decided to seek public office just like any other celebrity.

Not if it infringes on the legal framework afforded ALL US citizens, and your sense of "moral justice" isn't a compelling argument to change what has been the norm AND the law for the entire history of our country.

Continuing with the theme of transparency for a moment I'd like to ask about Obama bi - excuse me - OSAMA bin-Laden. Why all the secrecy? Why no photos proving the death of the most hated man in America?

How would this help the image of the US to the world? How would this lessen the flames of hatred for the US? "Hey, we just executed your "great leader" and here are the pics - nyah, nyah, nyah-nyah, nyah..."
Brilliant idea...

Why no trial?

See above.

Don't you think the American people deserved to see justice done, in an American courtroom, and THEN see him executed?

I haven't seen statistics that suggest that as a whole, the US public feels cheated out of their pound of flesh at all - have you?

"I'm going to close Guantanamo Bay." Mmmmm, no.

Miscalculation there - no doubt. It sort of goes along with the idea that that no one wanted the Gitmo trials in the US at all for fear of possible reprisals - which in turn goes back to Bin-Laden's lack of a trial - no one wants the inherent safety risks.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure we're still in Iraq; and Afghanistan.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure combat troops are out and that we're on schedule for further withdrawal in Iraq, and from at least July of '08 through the election, he made no promises about shutting down afghan involvment. In fact, he said he'd beef up troop strength.

How exactly does that fit in with your promise to have pending legislation open to view on the Internet for 5 days before you signed it into law?

Actually, he's broken that one several times. Unheard of for a politician isn't it?

You said you were going to cut spending, yet since you've taken office your administration has spent more than TWICE that of every administration from George Washington to George W. Bush spent - COMBINED.

Much of that spending was related to the tanking economy which he inherited, and defense. I suppose we could've let the banks and auto manufacturers and housing market free-fall into utter bankruptcy. Yeah, that would have made things much better now that I think about it... Damn, I *knew* I should've voted for McCain when he said in September of '08 that the economy was "fundamentally strong"

The price of gas has doubled under your watch.

Same thing happened under Bush and HE wasn't able to do anything about it either. Why would the president have input on global oil pricing - is OPEC *supposed* to listen to us? Why?

You've claimed the authority to assassinate American citizens without benefit of a trial.

I'm actually OK with this, and I think Bush would've been also. They chose which bed they wanted to lie in and these are the consequences. Those considering it in the future now have something else to think about - especially in light of Bin Laden - don't they?

My bad. Humor extra dry, gets in the way.

I think most folks believe im angry all the time, cause they cant see the grin.

I forgot the most important one. 7 MILLION jobs lost since the day of the fumbled swear in and the so called covert swear in the next day.

But if you were never really sworn in.....you cant be held accountable.

Awesome dude. I'm glad somebody actually sees his merits for what they are. Obama is a great leader but he falls into the trap of wanting to lead a large geographical area (like all US presidents) from a centralized location with tons and tons of federal departments.

My wish?
Ron Paul for president 2012
Barack Obama for my state governor.

Obama runs this nation as if we are all on the same page. We are not and it's not fair for us to assume so. He's the type of leader that needs to be in his element (just like Reagan) to really lead effectively.

A lot of you need to wake up. Obama has proved himself to be a pathological liar.
We have lost our government for a long time; they are bought and paid for by the world’s biggest corporations.
Most of our so call elected leaders in Congress are selected by a Foundation, called The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) .

Members of ALEC’s board represent major corporations such as Altria, AT&T, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Koch Industries, Kraft, PhRMA, Wal-Mart, Peabody Energy, and State Farm. Such corporations represent just a fraction of ALEC’s[color=gold] approximately three hundred corporate partners. According to the American Association for Justice,[color=gold] over eighty percent of ALEC’s finances come from corporate contributions.

Americans are increasingly recognizing and speaking out against the disproportionate power of corporations in shaping public policy and steering politicians, and ALEC is a prime example of how Corporate America is able to buy even more power and clout in government. Rather than serve the public interest, ALEC champions the agenda of corporations which are willing to pay for access to legislators and the opportunity to write their very own legislation. [color=gold] It helps surrogates and lobbyists for corporations draft and promote bills which gut environmental laws, create a regressive tax system, eliminate workers’ rights, undermine universal and affordable health care, privatize public education, and chip away at voting rights. It's no wonder that so many big corporations view ALEC as a wise investment. ALEC represents an alarming risk to the credibility of the political process and threatens to greatly diminish the confidence and influence ordinary people have in government.

www.pfaw.org...

We do not have a government for the “We The People” anymore, what we have is corporatism running the United States.

Obama is corporate establishment. They don't give a middle class African American from the streets of Chicago a seat at the UN if he wasn't connected to some big time players. And even if it was because he's a new face, he is giving NATO and the UN power because they are showering him with peace prizes and flattery. It's still bad leadership.

1, If you donate to his campaign, he will give you a waiver on Obamacare.
2. He'll be your bff if you don't call him "Ears". He's very sensitive about that.
3. If you are a terrorist, he'll try his best to Mirandize you.
4. He did away with that horrible word "war" and replaced it with the gentler "kinetic military action".
5, He's giving our military generals a break by turning control of our troops in Libya over to NATO.
6. If you're a terrorist, he's doing his best to get you transferred out of Gitmo and into a nice cushy American prison where he will lawyer you up before he sets you free.
7. He's assisting poor countries like Brazil by giving them billions to drill for oil, while eliminating their US competition b
8. Just look at what he did for Peggy Joseph...
