Is this the political situation in the USA?

you support the democratic/liberal party because they are (supposedly) fighting for the people and fight for their rights such as in social security, medicare/aid, funding welfare.. etc etc as in social programs.. you see republicans trying to cut them while giving cheap money/bail outs to banks, subsidies for oil companies, tax breaks for special interests and tax cuts for wealthy.....

all in the mean while, the US is going deeper in debt.

this is kind of the place where the USA is at. All of sudden, DEBT has become our major issue. (I kind of wonder where this sudden worry of DEBT all of came from because USA was in debt a long long while ago and i also wonder which mastermind brought this debt topic to the mainstream US population as it came out of nowhere) (well i think perhaps anti obama healthcare?)

all at the same time, you secretly know that spending all that money in welfare and social programs will bankrupt this country....

We had a balanced budget ... a surplus .. and then Bush and the NeoCons invaded America. Tax cutd for corporations and the rich coupled with endless wars based on lies ... goddamned right I'm a liberal. not true the so called deficit is is a lie it exists only on the set of books that we the people are allowed to see
meanwhile there is another set of books CAFR which reveals income based on investments these paragons of corruption and GREED made using the peoples taxes.

whats the debt 14 trillion? that leaves more than 50 trillion left over divide that by the current population....

find the CAFR for your state follow the methodology provided by the links or get an accountant to do it for you.

the point is all this deficit crap is just another puppet show for the masses like the war on terror,

yea you are right. military spending and wars are a huge huge costs to economy. but who elects the government workers? so the problem is not military spending...it is probably us
