Police seek help identifying body of boy found

www.wgme.com

•State Police say they've taken about 100 leads in an effort to identify the body of a young boy found in South Berwick over the weekend
•Lt. McDonough: "It's just going to be a matter of that phone call coming in and identifying this kid - it's going to happen."

It's been awhile since I've posted, and no, this is not a "typical" ATS news story...it is an awareness post to bring attention to a little boy who was found dead on the side of the road in Berwick, Maine. The 4-6 year old boy was found Saturday, and as of this post, not a single person has stepped forward to identify this little boy!!! PLEASE...get the word out, post the boys pic and the news story link everywhere!! Someone HAS to know this little boy!!! I am not unaware of the fact that things like this happen way too often, but this is so unusual because after 3 days not a single person has identified him-no grandparents, aunts, babysitters, neighbors??? SOMEONE must know who he is....he deserves his OWN name on a headstone...NOT John Doe....

RIP Little Angel Man.... :-(

PS...I'm not the greatest at computer tech...but I hope all the links posted correctly??
NONE of the links are graphic in any way.......

Thats a disgrace! That long and ... It disgusts me.
A few weeks ago a 4 year old strolled into a grocery store in my area. The grocery store is located near very busy streets. The parents didn't report the child missing for like 12 hours! Things like this that happen make me favor eugenics sometimes.

it never ceases to amaze me the horror that people do! I pray this little angel is identified soon and the ones responsible --- brought to justice.

What about the parents!? How can a child be missing for days without a parent caring? I mean, if my child were missing for that long and a childs body came up and needed ID'd i would definitely have to see for myself it it were my kid unless I was somehow involved in the little ones death.

When they discover who the poor child is I'd like to hear what the parents have to say.

Keep us updated.

Chances are since there was never a missing persons report in the area for a child that he was put there by family.

I guess he could have been trucked in from afar but there werent any missing persons reports for any boy at all in the surrounding states. At least that's what early news reports said.

I have a feeling you maybe right. If there is no missing person report and no one has come forward then it is quite possible to be an abuse case gone to far imo.

The thing is, someone will notice that a parent in there area hasnt had there child around for some time and put two and two together. I hope anyway.

Maybe something happened to his family too and that's why he wasn't reported missing?

Could the little boy have been brought in from another country?

If that's the case, I hope they find his family and let them rot in jail.

Sadly, you are probably right. This thread wasn't started to get into logistics of a crime or not...there is just not enough information to do so rationally at this time. This boy deserves a name!!! THAT is the top priority for the public right now.....

You are right and the reason there is no report is because in all probability the ones who did this were a mother and boyfriend, father and girlfriend, or someone in a custodial situation with a history of frequent address changes. I would be willing to bet that it has been a very long time since this child saw any grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins and I would be willing to also bet that someone connected with his care had a serious drug or other substance abuse problem. This is so heartbreaking because people keep doing these horrible things to their children----the news is full of monsters like this! All we can do is pray for this little one. No one deserves to be thrown away like garbage and the little one deserves his own name on his tombstone and to be mourned by those who loved him and do no yet...know he is gone.

I hope this works. This my first time trying to post an image. And I'm trying from my phone. So my apologies if this doesn't work.

Sorry Casandra. I didn't see you had got it up. You did what I wanted to do but I came up with "link to external image". I'm a "newbie" still & am slowly trying to figure these things out.

Anyway, I hope as many people as possible see this on ATS & maybe post it everywhere.

This lil one needs a name & justice. OBL was treated better @ death (or so the official story is) & that just enrages me that this beautiful lil boy is gone. Found under a blanket on the side of an off beat road.

Well, it might be the parents who killed him.

He was covered with a blanket at one point, and I know from watching too many TruTV shows that that is a signal of remorse or care for the victim that is often seen when the murderer knows the victim.

Maybe because the parents are involved in the death of this child; possibly the mother and her boyfriend not related to the child. Just a guess but that's usually in a majority of these cases.

Is there a housing development or housing commission in that area??? That's where I'd start looking and questioning neighbours.....also a photo of the child (as in the article) placed on large billboards near these housing developments.....

www.youtube.com...

Hopefully I shared the link right.

I couldn't figure out how to use the YouTube function. What is a video number?? Looks like I have to do some reading.

If someone hasn't beat me to it & you know how to post it: please do.

Police still seeking tips after boy found on the side of the road

It seems as if they are concentrating on military families in transit.
Who knows, but it seems like their barking up the wrong tree. Who knows, they probably know more than what they are saying.

That's usually how the state police run things. No word gets out unless they want it to. Seen it first hand, a while back.
