3. Do you KNOW THIS PERSON get them to look at their giger counter and respond back with NEWS !!!

ATS Spy Network members in and around San Mateo please investigate and respond with comments as to your findings.

I see what you're talking about...it's got to be an error considering how low all the numbers are nearby? Maybe...I hope so anyhow! Unfortunately I'm not even in the US, much less California to investigate :/ I wonder if you email the website owners if they can give any info?

ok just so you know...the site has this specifically posted

Note that these are generally run by individuals, and not all readings may be accurate. Do not panic because you see a high reading. Someone could be getting invalid readings.

I'm guessing invalid reading

The weird thing is that it isn't constant...it is changing when the page updates, but still always in the 900's. I was thinking it was "stuck" but it is definitely moving up and down

That's pretty high! I guess you'll still have people commenting, it's no problem.... "Blown of out of proportion"
"It's normal that area", etc.
As I seen that locally with the radiation tested in the milk.

I have been monitoring radiation levels in my location about 50 miles north of San Diego since Fukushima began to melt down.on this thread.

Thread

Sorry I have not been vigilant on my monitoring for the past six weeks, but I saw this thread and turned my detector on to see what was going on.

I am getting between 6 - 6.5 microRoengtens/Hr. The normal background here before Fukushima was 4.5 - 5 mR/Hr.
Not even 2x higher and I am using official Govt. gear.
Nothing crazy here.

As soon as I saw the link I went

Blackcatsystems has been horribly bad at monitoring radiation. First Bakersfield was way high, then New York/New Jersey, now this.

Here's a second source you can check:

www.radiationnetwork.com...

They don't have monitors everywhere, but I've yet to see any crazy spikes with them.

Yes, I have been watching both networks since the disaster in Japan ...

... but I don't like the Radiation Network very much you can not see all the data on it and it is not even world wide.

It is 966 right now

I have seen others score high, like around 90 in Tokyo or Denver, those go down for a couple days, as in COMPLETELY DISAPPEAR FROM THE MAP, and then come back again but they usually RISE back to the old score after a while.

I think we have specs of PLUTONIUM floating in and getting stuck on the sensor ...

... THIS WOULD BE VERY BAAAAD
FOR OUR HEALTH IF THAT IS TRUE !!!!!!

People could start suddenly getting agressive cancers

Maybe the guy that emailed the network will get back to us soon with an explanation.

WoOoW, I just noticed how I had a typo in the title, now its too late to fix it
Kind of straaange too, "COME I LIVE"

This is indeed scary...may I ask how you get the reading from San Mateo to display?
The maps shows many readings stacked upon each other, there must be something I am missisng.

There is a zoom control at the top of the map, directly up about 4 inches.

The easy way to do it is get the Bay Area in the middle of your page ...

Then when you see the hand on your cursor click and drag to move the BA to the top of your window ...

Now scroll up about 3 inches.

Now you can see the scale
, zoom it, with a couple clicks and the data will begin to break up, reposition and repeat the above steps.

Is it even physically possible for it to be that high in San Mateo but perfectly normal everywhere else around?
Please say no. I live in the East Bay.
