Ok why am I seeing that haunting green box again for U2U alerts?

The little ribbon at the bottom with the highlighted "new messages" was perfect! This box covers the "recent posts" tab, which is my favorite

Am I the only one seeing this? Please tell me I'm not going crazy.


If this is back can I ask why? It reminds me of those annoying pop over ads on websites.

Yeah its back, and yes the button on the ribbon was absolutely perfect, and also im not sure if im imagining this, but the green box doesnt seem to come up for every message, Could be just me going nuts though

I thought they got rid of it for the ribbon. Do people need that many alerts to a message?

The box wont go away either when I click close. I get that box alot...due to my alerting habits so it drives me nuts when I have a long day of alerts. I dont read those messages I usually just delete them when I do get a real message I have to read, which is rare lol

It is funny though. IDK why that box drives me nuts but it does. When it first appeared I was like oh cool, then I realized how uncool it was lol

Agreed. It's by far a better system, IMO. Too many times before people were seemingly missing messages because they had no idea they had one. Now.. they can't miss it!

Ill tell you what drives me nuts, the ribbon! Not so bad on my PC but kills me when trying to post on my droid2. So annoying and difficult to hit the hide button correctly without hitting something else. Sorry for somewhat off topic response =) I personally don't mind the Green box O' hell.

I love the ribbon. Actually I loved the old message button evn better when it turned red I got all excited.

RA lol you know I never liked that box, it does jump out at you! Scary Like I told you in chat before it's my OCD.

The ribbon I like, it's sleek and clean lol again OCD and organization!

I don't get that many U2U (and the ones I do get are usually from mods telling me to behave), so it doesn't bother me, honestly....

OMG it has returned.

I am looking at that dreadful green box AND a yellow ribbon bar. It's too much!

Seriously make up your mind which one you want.
