Also, excellent point. I feel that we're having some very diverse minds meeting here, and the result has been a broadening of all our understandings on the subject at hand. In that sense, I would say that having partners on the path to wisdom (not really a club per se, the word has an exclusionist connotation) is an invaluable asset.

Anyone's welcome to sit at this table. It's a smorgasboard of ideas; new strains of thinking adding more herrings, and cheeses, and tiny toasts of understanding. And strange, strange fruits on the fruit plate.

Uh, uh. I have been surrounded my whole life with broken damaged people trying to make it through life the best they can. I consider that to be very fortunate. I have been surrounded with the walking wounded. All of them bearing the trauma scars that craft them into neat little food producing units. Usually the trauma is delivered by the hands of loved ones and care givers. The people closest to them.

I have heard of the people that you are talking about and I may have even met a few. But I have only ever seen the broken-ness in them due to their own trauma wounds (which likely came at the hands of loved ones) not some rabid blind beast. Just someone who wants to be loved. Because you see the world is pure love. It is just that we twist each other's hearts into such mis-shapen things that finding the love required to fit our particular mess is nearly impossible. Those people deserve to hear a message of love, too.

I´ve met people willing to kill themselves because the thought of going to work after being rich is too much for them, people that live in debt forever just to pretend they are something else by driving a Ferrari they cannot afford.

Again, heard of them on the news but I have never met any of them. Most of the folks I know right now are going through all kinds of financial problems that are threatening their stuff. None of them are killing themselves or anyone else. In fact they are drawing nearer to their families (fictive or FOO) as they should be.

I have also met people willing to sell their own children to be able to indulge in their stuff without being bothered one bit.

This happens all over the world. To simply disregard it as the actions of 'bad people' is horribly short sighted. What is it we do to one another in this world that causes people to do this to each other? That is a good question to ask. We behave as the agents for these things that use us as food. The trauma that we create in one another, from the smallest exchange at the cash register to the most horrible incident of domestic abuse is what keeps the whole show rolling and keeps the food coming. Folks might think about that next time they might be feeling some road rage behind the wheel if you live in a place like that.

People are as attached to their stuff to their deaths, why do people stay in their homes and drown during floods? to protect their stuff over their lives, why do people die and kill over religion? because they believe that their stuff is worthier than them, we are taught to attach ourselves to whatever silly stuff they can sell us.

Why doesn't the paradigm change and the education systems adapt to new discoveries in science? why do they still keep the paradigm of Columbus discovering America when there are several studies that have demonstrated without a doubt that other were here first? You can learn about the precession of the equinox now in 2 hours on the history channel. Do you know what a person would have to go through 15 years ago to get that information?

I actually do have an agenda concerning this. What kind of Power isn't free. The whole zeitgeist of this time is Open Source. As Above So Below, right? This is the nature of the Kali Yuga. And I think they want to end the pain that they exchange between themselves.

OK. I will fess up. There was a price back in the day. But it really consists of taking your normal life offline so you can do other stuff and somewhere along the line you will probably lose what you used to think was your mind. That is no longer really necessary and that is why I keep going on about all this like this. So there, I have confessed.
I keep mentioning that there is busy-work that can be avoided by all interested parties but (I know I shouldn't play games with this but I thought it was made clear in the Oprah thread) I don't think anyone is going to like what the busy-work is.

This is a tool of atomisation and separation. 'Look deep within yourselves'. 'Not over here where we are f-ing up your lives'. Then the peoples energies are funneled into useless group projects like 'alternative energy businesses'. Considering the types of technologies that are kept from the peoples this is ludicrous.

Same thing with 'The Secret' which basically says that your life is the way it is because you made it that way. That is just incredibly shortsighted. Not just from a 'spiritual' standpoint but also from a psychosocial standpoint.

So much goes into making people into the efficient little food producers that they are that to say it is all their fault is just silly.

We disagree and agree friend, but what matters is that we can express and communicate this different postures to many who didnt even consider them at all. that in itself is a triumph, as the more we know the more we can recognize, the faster we can react and do something.

I am glad your here. Yes the emotions can get us, (very chemical). I try my best to deal with them as you already know. This is what this tread has been about, to harness these. Not shed them completely. We would be gonners without them.

I did indeed get this out of your OP. I just tried to reword to increase understanding. Our language has many limitations and often the same concept will need to be repeated in hundreds of ways to capture all the nuances and allow a broader level of understanding.

Your OP was not clear but it wasn't supposed to be. If it was clear it would have failed. It was clear enough to allow people to think and know what you meant but not so clear as to destroy the required thought process.

If tell you the answer is (2*512)/8=A and then you must Divide A by 32 to see what I mean a person will get to and appreciate 4 much more than if I simply tell him 4.

I am still not surprised how many people missed the point. You are working with a lot of background information most just don't have.

I am not saying this is who you or really anyone here truly is. What I am saying is we need to watch for this. It is a pitfall the ego finds hard to avoid. Being humble can help. I just don't believe in being humble though. When I know I'm good at something I'll let people know. The question that remains is if it is to stoke the ego or if it is because I desire to help and they need to know I'm good at so I can help them.

Many wise people I know would say that you don't need to establish you are worth listening to your words will have merit or they won't. This is how I perceive you are for the most part. Good.

If I can think really hard and get my brother to call me when he had no reason to (Repeatably with him and a few others) then I am certain another species can pick up thoughts the way you or I pick up light. You were thinking very very loud. You are a loud thinker I can tell from here. They heard you and buzzed you.

Is it that simple? Why were they there? If we know of and interact with inorganics why can't they? Do you have a watcher who sent them in your direction knowing it would be a catalyst to get you off your butt? I think so.

We can oversimplify everything and get an acceptable answer which will lead us to the same outcome. But things aren't really that simple.

I think love is beautiful and nice and possibly a portion of the key. But it isn't the key.

People always repeat this because it sounds nice. And of course you will politely tell me I don't know what I'm talking about and will one day learn or some such thing.

Love is not the key to everything it is a dead end and if you focus there we will be stuck in the same spiritual eddy we've been trapped in since the 60s and probably many other times.

Tell me I am wrong. Know I have spent months considering this and believing it to be the case. I kept getting stuck.

I then realized that while love is beautiful and a wonderful place to hang out it is not the key nor the answer anymore than retiring to Florida is the key to a happy career.

I'll take that. I admire respect ego with a dash of humility. You guy's back it up, you have knowledge that others don't (not saying here either) and speaking loud and clear on a subject that you know about (no humility there) is a good thing.

Some people think it can be harsh, but It is a sure fire way to be sure people are not misled. Same with puking rainbow unicorn guy. I respect you both for it.

I don't know about the craft? I do not discount it either, how would I know what is capable and what is not. I have dug deep trying to find something close and what do I find to describe it? A new years ball, a soap bubble and a LED light.

I cannot find but one maybe two things that were close to what I saw. I was hesitant to post these because of the whole "hoax" thing. But after I saw what I saw, who knows?

If you want historical precedent for a similar light I would talk to the puking unicorn. He really does know a lot more than me about that stuff.

I am personally convinced we have extraterrestrial visitors to our planet. I've known a few people who would be in a position to know and while they didn't tell me anything I can read people well and a person can answer by what isn't said as well as by what is said. Either way it isn't a smoking gun for anyone but me. I only tell you this so you know where my theory is coming from.

People often think I'm whacked out... I'm just very observant.

By the way I don't think aliens are visiting us to save our souls or direct us to a new awakening.

I had a sighting too. I have been in to UFOs since I was a kid. I had always wanted to see one and sometimes would squint my eyes at helicopters and pretend but I never did (see one). Until I moved to where I am living now. I have seen three things in the sky that I cannot explain since I have moved here. I detailed the one 'major' sighting on a thread attempt here.

The word literally means to be "tightly bound" or "tied down", and it is an old Japanese folk expression for what in English is called "sleep paralysis". If you ask an English speaker to explain "sleep paralysis" to you, you'd probably be met only with a blank stare. Kanashibari, on the other hand, is part of the general Japanese consciousness.


Kanashibari, or sleep paralysis, usually happens when the sleeper is either entering or coming out of REM sleep.
