OK this will make you sick.

I pulled it on its tail and threw it. Then like some pro wrestler I jumped on it and my feet landed on it's (sic) torso. Slam! Felt good! But the cat didn't die, well not yet,” the physics major wrote on his blog in April 2009.

“Now everyone knows I hate cats. It's an unexplainable feeling towards them. Like some internal hatred. I just don't know why but I just cannot overcome my hatred for cats.”

Doesn't that sound like a soon to be serial killer!

The court ordered him to report to the group's suburban Manila animal shelter where he would be taking care of pets that were rescued from cruelty or neglect, they quoted the verdict as saying.

So i guess the punishment fits the crime. But what happens when he gets out. I bet he won't be able to finish his degree. He'll probably go on some mass killing spree of cats until he is confident enough to start on people
may be i watch to much CSI...

What do you think?

You will find this boy dead in the near future.

It's already in motion. That's all I can say and I will not go any further.

His "hatred" for cats must be fueled by something other than a mere dislike for the small domestic mammal . Cats are some of the most precious animals on the planet, they cause little problems for owners and only ask to be fed. Hopefully through seeing the pain they go through, he will change his ways over time.

Sending your dog after a cat is no different than you doing the deed yourself..

I really hope your joking.... This isn't a tom and jerry cartoon. Any type of life taken is a sad loss

I also hope your joking! A eye for a bigger eye just isn't the answer he needs to be monitored though. He's got some issues. And i forget how many cat lovers there are out there!

I agree, and also hope he does feel some type of empathy if not then there might not be much that anyone can do to make sure he doesn't start killing. I hope he gets looked over by some sort of medical professional

I swear if i saw this guy doing that i would have beat him to within an inch of his life. God the thought of this poor animal getting beaten not knowing any better and in his last minutes of life question what it did wrong makes me so angry. The fact is it probably was someones pet something they loved an cared for so it trusted people that's how he was able to get so close.

It's people like this that usually wind up trying to be an hero on the interwebs. People with no respect for life whatsoever.

I agree, there is such a lack of respect for life at all phases. Every living thing on this planet deserves a life. I'm not saying that I do not eat meat, or do not partake in fishing and feeding my family with said fish. However; there is a natural order. One that is not meant to be broken. One does not kill, just for the sake of killing.

It's a good thing then, that these types of asinine bloggers who blog and tweet about every action, give them selves away-just locally one blown himself up with homemade bombs, talked about Jihad-as a good thing, etc on Youtube). If you advertise something against the law or even morally wrong, you're asking for it. Esp., today when most everything is monitored. In this case, he will be put to justice. Whereas, I wouldn't readily trust him, with having to care for animals as punishment, unless well monitored. You don'thave to like an animal, another human, etc, does not mean you have to kill it. How about learn about felines, if in fact if he replied on stereotypes or had one or just a few bad experiences, that is still no excuse for what he has done.
/end rant.
I agree with the potential serial killer statement, with that kind of disregard for life, they often do not stop there.

That's so ...bright of you.
You laugh at that? I bet you'd laugh real hard if the owner of the said cat came after your dog.
-not only is that a demented statement, but you could anger the wrong person-

Pathetic indeed.

This reminds me of a piece I read about the fear of big cats, bears, wolves etc. It stated that it is imbedded deep in our brains to fear these creatures. It was stated this deeply rooted fear goes back to a time when people weren't the top of the food chain. Our ancestors lived In fear of these creatures and truly understood their power.. However it would seem this guy took it to another level killing house cats. I say let him fight a cat that weighs the same as him. UFC weight class style. I bet he'd sell out on pay per view.

Nothing makes my blood boil quicker than someone intentionally hurting animals.

I've gone on record before and I will say it again, if I see anyone hurting a cat, kitten or any animal that can't defend itself, even by the jaws of another animal because some pathetic person thinks its funny, look out whoever is involved, you are going down and I am willing to do jail time to stop you. I dont' stand for violence against animals or against kids. Period.

I don't think having him near cats and other animals as punishment is a good idea at all. He just might do so more crazy stuff there.

When I was 16 years old my family was having a garage sale in the back yard, and a guy brought it dog back there with him, on one of those long zip leash style things that can extend out to like 20 feet long.

My cat (who has since passed away) was sitting on the porch, and the dog ran after the cat, and starting attacking him. The dog's owner started laughing. My mother told the owner to leave, and the owner just sat there laughing about his dog attacking my cat.

The man was in his late 20s or early 30s I would have guessed, and at 16 years old I ran over and gave this guy a beating he will likely not forget. He was on the ground half crying, bleeding from his nose and one eye. His dog then ran over and bit my calf muscle so I had to stop, another person who was there shopping at the sale grabbed a hold of the dog and took him off me.

Now the dog had attacked my mother's cat and her 16 year old child, so she was in a state of rage, and was flipping out on this guy like I have never seen in my life. As a grown man I'd probably be scared to see a woman getting that crazy. Anyway, the guy left and I assume called the cops, who talked to us about 6-7 hours later. Evidently they had come by the house earlier, but we were at the hospital getting my leg checked out.

We lied, and said the dog had attacked me first, and the guy was laughing about it so I attacked him. The cop basically said OK and left. Not really sure if anything else happened with the guy, but I do not regret to this day my actions.

I treat my cats as part of my family, and if anybody does harm to them, I'll react in the exact same way I did back then, most likely even worse if it was an actual person hurting them and not just their dog. I don't care if that makes me a "bad person" for using violence against people, in my opinion if you intentionally hurt an animal or another human with no reason, your well being is worth absolutely nothing to me.

I hope someone does to this guy what he did to that cat. A curb stomping would be quite fitting, I think.

I agree and understand. I have in my care 12 cats right now, some are recent strays but mostly all of them I've had since they were babies, and I'm going back 10-12 years. They are my family, and there isn't anything I wouldn't do to defend them that I wouldn't do for my own daughters. And my daughters feel the same way.I've always had animals in my life, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, etc....they are each unique and special. But my love for animals goes beyond my own family. I will defend any helpless animal in distress by the hands of someone with malicious intent.Even at my own expense.
