A lot of people are claiming a lot of ridiculous things. It is not behaving in a way that is at all unusual for a comet. If you don't trust NASA, you can check with Aerith.net, which post the latest photographs and observations from amateur and professional astronomers all over the world:

Incidentally, please do not confuse astrologers with astronomers. Astronomers actually observe and study the sky. Astrologers make predictions based upon the movements of the planets. They can charitably be described as "artists." The comet is a comet. A brown dwarf would be clearly visible to the naked eye. Conspiracy, yes, but not on the part of the scientific community.

if you ask me i think our creator isnt gona let that happen we have made it this far ehhhh. i can see it geting worst but i dont think they and when i mean they i mean gods aliens the people in the earth the people in higher dimensions just to name a few wont let that happen. know what i mean? i think we mean alot to some other beings who for all we know have been protecting us from being extinct this whole time.

I think what the people claiming it doesnt exist are saying is that NASA is setting us up to use it as an excuse for global problems - I can't really believe this since there's no proof and plenty of naysayers that solar/galactic events have anything to do with earthquakes - there's plenty of earthquakes every day that exclude solar/galactic activity

You're absolutely right, that was my mistake - I did mean astronomers - and after I asked the question here, I did find plenty of pictures of Elenin - apparently I was looking at old data where people said it didn't exist
so I will withdraw that question

It really does fit with the niberu story but maybe I only saw manipulated stories of it.
But that thing seems to move really fast compared to us, so life on it...maybe it's because i'm not a scientist, but I don't think it's possible.

people are entitled to their beliefs, regardless of how scary or not scary the music on youtube is - its best to oppose people in a well thought out, intelligent manner - insults never taught anyone anything

I dont believe in nibiru either - but really these 2 comets coming close together is going to be unpredictable - people tend to fear the unknown

Honestly though, I think its suspicious ... I can't imagine all the contractors are lying about underground bunkers - if only 1 of them is telling the truth thats a lot of millions being spent on a maybe

I agree, that's why I have pointed out countless times that any body massive enough to cause the tectonic plates to shift would wreak havoc with the ocean's tides. I have pointed out that the Sun's electromagnetic field is so massive that not even Jupiter's seems to have much effect on it. I have pointed out that earthquakes are daily events, so naturally you can find some sort of earthquake for any random celestial event. There are uncounted thousands of comets drifting through the solar system at all times. There is absolutely nothing unusual about two of them being visible around the same time. They are just dirty snowballs. People who fear the unknown need to learn more about the world around them, that way they will have less to fear.

I also been saying that astrological events do not cause earthquakes in another thread
no one seems to want to hear that.... in spite of evidence I provided

as far as comets hitting the earth... it could happen any second by a comet we can't even see yet - and no one seems to grasp really how far 22 million miles is (I think thats what I read is the closest Elenin will be)

still, you can't deny we got plenty to fear in the terms of the unknown, we just can't let it dominate our lives

Now if you think at to what Jesus actually is which is the personification of a star that makes sense. A Star or Comet will come down to Earth on May 21st and everyone will see it coming through the clouds.

Some have been saying these comets, asteroids... are creating earthquakes and that's why the bunkers are being built for the elite. Why would you try to hide UNDERground during a massive earthquake? I would much rather be out in the open and not facing the possibility of having to dig through megatons of debris to get out. I know NORAD is built on giant springs to absorb the shock of a close strike. These are supposed to be earth changing quakes and those bunkers would have to be built on a MASSIVE scale to withstand what's supposedly coming and probably still wouldn't make it.

Just for the record though, taking your question a little more seriously - its highly unlikely since these people also predicted the rapture in 1994 - if 500 million people go missing (thats how many he claims) then we can look forward to October 21st as the date Elenin will likely slam into our planet (he said it'll be 6 months after the rapture the world ends)

Actually we are missing the boat on the comet discussion. It is not likely the comet head is going to impact earth but what's in the tail of the comet that is going to impact earth. If we took it it straight on with the comet head then we would be finished. But from what I understand, a comet itself is a mass of rock and ice particles (I assume many of them quite large) that extend over a large area. We could get hit with something inside the comet.

If we did get hit with a rock from the comet then 5000 years from now the cave dwellers would say that we were hit by comet Elenin when in fact we were just hit by part of the comet. For the record books though (you know the plates of metal and cave walls) they would be right. We got smacked by Elenin.

Nope....you have a false mind's eye impression of what a comet really looks like.

The so-called "tail" isn't solid, nor a threat in any way. It is just the same very, very tenuous ethereal material as the coma....it is the coma, being spread out by the pressure of the Solar wind....the particles emanating from the Sun.

The coma, and tail, are so thin that on Earth they would be considered a very good vacuum .... it is difficult to create a "perfect" vacuum in laboratory conditions on Earth. The tail and coma are that thin, and pose no danger at all.
