One thing to remember..This universe is vast. it has enough worlds in it for each of us to have our own world and our own illusion in it. I am just living here in my illusion which, if a test, I hope I pass...and if just for fun, I know I pass......I'll just be glad when I am given back the other 90% of my brain power....Running on just 10% isn't getting it...especially when posting here at ATS where "some" are just using 1% of theirs.....as they have given the other 9% to their rulers so they can think for them...

If there is only one sentience then it is not you, it is me, for all I can be sure of is that I exist and I am not you; therefore, there is more than one sentience. It may have started as on; but, like the big bang, it is no longer one point, it is now unlimited and the genii cannot be put back in the bottle.

We can talk and interact without sharing our minds, we do not need to be "one" and we are not and we never will be, even if we were at one time. How boring would that be?

There are no other countries on the planet. Even if you have visited one, you were actually on the same continent in another area, populated by creatures that are told to act in a certain way so that you will buy the lie. The same thing goes for the Earth.

having spent 13 years in the Navy I can tell you that this is wrong. I have literally circumnavigated the globe more than once, but perhaps that was just part of the lie.

i had a similar belief when i was about 7 years of age. at that age i also used to think my Mom had sewn microphone buttons onto each of my shirts, because she always knew what i was up to or if i was lying.

Infinite possibilities

According to the Emerald Tablets, the OP is correct. All shapes, sounds, colors, textures, ect. are different from individual to individual. It is a collective consciousness that tells us these are all the same because through language we are able relate and compare things. For example, what I might see as blue, you may see as green, but because you learned from the beginning that what you saw is green, and what I saw as blue, they are tied through language. There are an infinite possibilities of differences that we relate with one another.
By reaching your higher self, you can shed this facade and see everything for what it truly is. You may also look through other peoples spirits and encounter through them. I have tasted of this. Without proper knowledge of Hermeticism, it will drive you mad, but is also possible in Buddhism.
We are prisoners of language.

Wow this is trippy, I wasn't going to post on here, but it got me thinking. The way I see it is I'm a human in my own reality(?) and you're all different, but to someone else they're the human and I'd be the one that's different, like we all have our own reality made for us? I can't comprehend this, I've been up too late lol. Sue me. Jesus This kind of thinking would turn me into a paranoid schizophrenic....
