Hello, I just arrived from GLP

Hopefully my experience with ATS will be better.

I've been lurking for a long time, I figure it is a good time to join the ranks of ATS. I need to get away from those people and this forum looks much more mature.

Thank you all for the kind welcome. I grew very tired of all the pointless circular discussion over there, the folks here look much more engaging.

Hang out awhile, I think you'll find ATS sooooo much better. I got banned @ GLP some months ago, I was horrified. I'd never been banned anywhere and for the most part I was only a lurker. I sent them a strongly worded e-mail and they responded by telling me that it was nothing personal, that they ban "blocks" of IP addresses at a time. They did restore my membership, but it was to little, to late. I HAD FOUND ATS!!!!!

ATS is where you come when you "graduate" and are ready to live in the adult world. You wont find the foul language and the, just plain "nasty" remarks, over here.

With that being said- "WELCOME"- See you around.

GLP I could describe it as a famous movie character, I could sum it up in a poem of a thousand words, I could run to the ends of the earth lighting candle sticks to show how bad it is... But for now Nelsons HA HA seems appropriate.

Hi All - found this post and thought I'd pile on.... I too have lurked from time to time and find the posts more enjoyable than the crazies at GLP that will side track a legit topic in no time, just to get banned for casting some clarity on flawed observations. Was an original at GLP (only was a registered user when Kent and Elaine was running the show - BTW really miss Kent and cyberspaceorbit - that was one of my all time favorite sites on the web) Glad to escape the midget farm lol

Look forward to contributing to this great Forum as it is as varied as my interests.
