Nah, I think you're showing admirable forethought. Even though your risk appears to be slight hurricanes are serious business. Enjoy Daytona but keep an eye on the weather.

Being from Louisiana I have been through a few hurricanes, mostly they were not much of anything at all, and then came Katrina! LOL But I would just watch the news and listen to what they say, if they suggest you leave, then please LEAVE! Hopefully in June you shouldn't have anything to worry about, hurricanes don't generally come around here that early in the season.
