ahhh, exscuse me, but in another thread it said that 210 lightning strikes in the area blew out transformers. WHAT? Since when does lightning strike so many times in a small area? Oh, i'm sorry, this is NORMAL, right. Lightning always strikes several times in a mile area. Sure, i realllllly believe that one. Just like i believe that fireworks killed the birds. Oh and ah, don't be alarmed, this is normal. Calm down, normal. So, i wonder what really caused this to happen.

Rather than being an "explosion", it appears to me that we're seeing a series of short circuits occurring inside a large transformer compound. I don't see any debris flying through the air. I'm wondering if the lights we see moving slowly through the air, could possibly ball lightning. I once seen a bluish ball of light travel along a hydro line during a severe thunder storm. Upon reaching the transformer mounted near the top of the pole, it exploded and knocked out the power in the area.

Seems to be explained by the locals fairly well at this SITE.

These aren't from individual lightning strikes. There was an individual strike not caught on camera that took out a power substation and caused a cascading failure of transformers down the lines this substation fed. As can be seen, there is no indication in the area of the arcing that he power is on. Dark as sin where this is happening.

I've seen the same thing happen in my neighborhood; very pretty electrical light show and very loud for those near the transformers.

As for the "orbs", who knows. White points of light at night with no discerning features or behaviors = whatever you want them to be...my guesses (which will be all anyone can provide) would be the electrical arcing reflecting off of aircraft or ball lightning or even an odd lens artifact from the camera itself. Pick one or make one up yourself...speculate away!

I live and work in the Fort Worth area, there were massive storms just prior to this happening. The lights are from transformers 'blowing' which somehow caused a chain reaction. I dont think this is UFO activity but its definitely not normal. Transformers dont usually behave like this. On a side note, a somewhat respected newspaper writer from the area commented on the event that he thought it was bombs going off, being dropped or some sort of war going on. Def not normal.

Those aren't explosions. They look more like a light show that Hollywood is known to produce for a movie. It looks very synchronized as well. Moreover, the object you are probably seeing in the sky is a helicopter capturing the lights on film. Just my two cents but nice video.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the sunset from yesterday.
It was 8:45 PM and the sunset horizon was still super bright.
